@MajorLazer, @TarrusRileyJA, @EllieGoulding’s “Powerful” Featured In New @EmporioArmani Ad Campaign!

Emporio Armani, a subsidiary of Italian Fashion House Giorgio Armani, recently kicked off a Campaign to promote their “Together Stronger” duo of Fragrances. In both print and video formats, the scents “Because It’s You” for Women and “Stronger With You” for Men were presented. In their series of videos (both for TV and Youtube) which features Actress Matilda Lutz and Actor James Jagger, the soundtrack provided was EDM trio Major Lazer, Recording Artist Ellie Goulding, and Reggae Artist Tarrus Riley’s “Powerful“!

“Powerful” was released in 2015, and featured on Major Lazer’s “Peace Is The Mission” Album. The single has enjoyed Top 10 placements in Australia, Poland, The US and UK with Platinum and Gold certifications in New Zealand, Italy, and Australia. “Powerful” was also featured in a Hulu TV Commercial in January, and remixed by various Producers. NEW VIDEO: @MajorLazer x @ElliphantMusic x @JoviRockwell – Too Original

Dropping off another video from their “Peace Is The Mission” album are the likes of Major Lazer. Titled “Too Original“, which is directed by Tim Erem and features Jovi Rockwell and Elliphant, we see lots of dancing, food being prepared, drinking and a good time all housed in a small restaurant. Nice mashup of Ska and Dancehall with the Major Lazer sound! Great to see Jovi Rockwell in the video too and of course Walshy Fire’s Clarks! Dropping a lyric video today are the likes of Major Lazer, Elliphant and Jovi Rockwell. Titled “Too Original” with Art Direction/Motion Design by John Hwang, we are treated to an animation filled with dancing feet with lyrics to the track displayed for you to sing along to. Loving this visual and the animation reminds me that I need to catch the latest episode of the Major Lazer cartoon. Dropping a song today that’ll make you feel stronger than steel are the likes of Major Lazer, Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley. Titled “Powerful“, Ellie drops love lyrics while Tarrus assists with the chorus over a heavy ML production. I can picture Ellie and Tarrus performing this to a crowd in the thousands waving lighters or cell phone lights (video idea maybe?). Last night, the creative minds at Major Lazer made their Television animation debut last night. During their debut they premiered one of their upcoming singles featuring Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Travi$ Scott and Jamaica’s own Mad Cobra. Titled “Night Riders“, the single showcases each artist dropping some fiery lines over Major Lazer’s unique production that fits as an alternative theme song for their show. Great single to listen to and Mad Cobra’s appearance is really awesome here. What do you think?
