Quick Cook Sees The Way Of “People” In New Video

Quick Cook is one of those people you can’t exclude out of the pages of Dancehall. Whether through song or slang, he has contributed to a number of moments over the years. Recently, he has been calling for more unity in Dancehall. As one who was in the middle of the famous Gaza/Gully beef as he was friends with Vybz Kartel and Mavado, he has seen how bad it can get in the scene, and would rather foes to become friends, and set better examples. What he wants to get rid of as well, are the people who study evil. He speaks on it in, “People“.

Produced by ZJ Liquid for his H2O Records on the “Narcissism Riddim” and released through Bread Organization, Quick Cook is navigating through life in the best way he can, and not get caught in the evil acts of the opposers in “People”. He speaks on the people who have meant him harm, and warns listeners to be careful of the people they share their energy with, and watch out for the fake smiles. He sheds light on the ways of people in a Music Video directed by RayeBann Entertainment, and we can all relate to these scenarios. Quick Cook holds it down with faith and prayer, and continues to be cautious.

The label reached out to Jahmiel for the song “True Colours” and Andre Shepherd for his song “Covered”, arguably two of Jamaica’s finest vocalists, who have delivered superbly.

True Colours Riddim is an upbeat one, and got its name from Jahmiel’s song of that same name. The Riddim has received great reviews since its release both locally and internationally. The songs are available for purchase on all digital platforms including iTunes, Spotify, CD Baby, Amazon Music and Google Play. The difference with this project is the universal message that it is sending out that everyone and anyone can relate to.

Andre Shepherd has this to say about his song “Covered”, “The song speaks to everyone. We all can relate to the song and most importantly it affirms the fact throughout whatever we are going through, we are all covered by the most high. The music is upbeat and creates a spirit of hope and this song encourages us to always be optimistic and proactive.” Jahmiel is also very pleased with the song and anticipates that it will be a success. “I have no doubt that this entire project will be successful. So far I have been getting a lot of positive feedback from this song and I know it can only better from here.”

CEO of Konsequence Music, Mr. Peart says that he hopes to get the company and the Riddim the much deserved attention with this project. The Label has put out quite a number of notable songs since its inception including Versatile’s “Work Flow”, the “Summa Escape Riddim”,  Jah Vinci’s “Be Strong”, Exco Levi’s “If You Wanna Leave”, Melloquence’s “Beautiful Distraction” and  Khago’s “Nuh Fi Legalize.”

25DaysOfChristmas: @BugleMusic x @TheDingDong x @QuickCookVip – Ghetto Christmas (Day 12)

You don’t have to be rich to enjoy this Christmas but after working hard all year it would be nice to be spoiled right? Bugle, Ding Dong and Quick Cook are looking forward to great things in the Christmas season with their new single. Titled “Ghetto Christmas” and made on the riddim of the same name, they deejay about free electricity for a month, going to parties, and opting for sugar and water if you can’t afford the finer beverages. It’s a pretty cool song once you give it a few more listens and it promotes togetherness for the season. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
