Jamaica-based Actress/Recording Artist Reese Antoinette, she’s doing the latter on “What Is Love“.

Done in collaboration with Dale Virgo and DZL Records, Reese Antoinette paints the picture of the things that happen when she connects with the one she loves. From the affection, to moments of bonding, to making most of that quality time together, Reese sings with joy about times like these. Whether in Jamaica, Turks & Caicos, or San Francisco, being with the one you love is worth everything. Dale Virgo’s production gives the lyrics even more life, and listeners will relate to lyrics that focuses on how special love can be. Expect to hear and see more Reese Antoinette as she is a cast member of the upcoming Apple TV+ series “Bad Monkey“, and starred in the Short Film, “RICKY“. Ghanaian Musician/Recording Artist Baaba J has been blessing the world with her melodies and sounds for a number of years. What first started as dream during her younger years have now turned into a full fledged career, scoring a following globally, and providing her various opportunities. It has been a while since she released her debut project, “Lumumba St.“, and she now steps out with her sophomore effort, the “Okay Baby, Let’s Do This” EP.

Featuring 7 tracks, Baaba J gives the world a reintroduction on “Okay Baby, Let’s Do This”. The project is filled with words of motivation, positivity, and it taps into the Ghanaian culture as you can hear Twi spoken throughout. The Afro-Fusion production on OBLDT was made possible by MERK, 4Play, NiiQuaye, Loudaa, and GuiltyBeatz, and they help to amplify Baaba’s words and melodies throughout. With two EPs in, we can expect her debut album to be one of those monumental moments that will really have the world’s attention. Until then, tap into the sounds of Baaba J. Who knows, maybe we’ll hear her collaborate with one of our Jamaica Artists in the future.

Dancehall-Pop Recording Artist Toian has been on the grind. Been a while since we featured her, but she has been putting the work behind the scenes. Based in Miami, she secured a number of collaborations, and released a project or two. Remember her “Ice Queen” collab with Vybz Kartel? “Ride The Wave“? What about “Rude Boys“? Her name has been called up recently in what you could call one of her biggest career moves, and that’s making the connection with SuperProducer Metro Boomin, and the highly anticipated “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” Film.

Teaming up with WizKid, Beam, Don Toliver, and Metro Boomin, Toian jumped on the “Spider-Verse Remix” of “Link Up“. With a mix of Pop, Afrobeats, and Red Rat’s “Tight Up Skirt” sample, Toian’s here for the link up, but don’t catch no feelings. She fits well with her collaborators, bringing her sweet vocals, making for a nice addition to the featured production. Red Rat’s “Tight Up Skirt” was released in 1997 and produced by Buccaneer on the Opera House label, and was famously sampled by Samantha J. Expect a lot more from Toian in the future, maybe she’ll pop up on more collabs with your favourite Artists, or even have more of her music featured in Films. Congrats to the big Singer!

With a few awards, performances, and singles to her name, she looks to become a household name, and a global brand. To take things to a new level, she recently released her debut EP, “Love Levels“.

Containing 7 tracks, the “Love Levels” EP finds Joby Jay tapping into love in different forms, relationships, and showcasing her vocal abilities and ear for unique sounds. To kick off the rollout for the EP, Joby released the single “Bare“, which was met with positive feedback. With production from the likes of NLSON, Koastal Kings, J.L.L., Island.Wav, Ziah, and Yannick Martin Belinga, Joby Jay’s songs were placed in great hands, and together they make for an entertaining listen. Listeners new to her music will not be disappointed with “Love Levels”, and can look forward to even more offerings from her in the future.

Recording Artist Q is getting ready to add a new piece to his discography that fans new and old will come to appreciate. Titled “Soul, PRESENT“, the new project will tap into Q’s life, emotions, and further showcase his ever-evolving creativity. He raises the anticipation with the new single, “Not Alone“.

Released through Columbia Records, Q comes through with production that sounds straight out of the 80s Pop vault. Adding unique lyrics and an energetic delivery, “Not Alone” sounds like a hit, and a reminder that creativity will not die. Q has some Prince elements here, and we look forward to see what “Soul, PRESENT” will bring to the table. “Not Alone”  is accompanied by a visualizer that shares lyrics to the song, and features Q getting busy with red paint and a brush. Q has been on the scene turning heads, and we expect him to elevate to even higher levels when he follows up with more music.
