Today’s new video comes from the tag team of Keznamdi and Kabaka Pyramid. Titled “Darkness” and directed by Salvatore Fullmore, we see the artists situated in a remote location and given the black and white treatment as the theme for the title track. Great song by the artists and the video is very clean. Very thought provoking lyrics, don’t be left in the darkness. Keznamdi’s EP “Bridging The Gap” is available now on iTunes. Plotting on a come up the Sons Of Liberty finally dropped their long awaited mixtape. Titled “Escape Theory“, this is a 13 track set of hard hitting lyrics and production by the collective. Featuring production by King Biggs, Heatwave, RipTide, and haYze and verses from all members, this is a project that was 7 years in the making. Recorded at Phillip Myers’ studio, they were able to bring  us music from the soul, their form of expression without restriction or control. Making badmind retire is Dre Island’s mission today in this new song. Titled “Conqueror” and produced by Jah Snowcone, we hear the artist showing respect to the foundation artists, highlighting that the ghetto youths want to be successful, criticizing politicians, and trying to prosper much more in life. Titled “Touch Yuh Like Dat” and produced by Frassout Family on the “Party” Riddim, we hear Da’Nandi showing his interest in a young lady and wants to pleasure her in various ways while Kala accompanies him in background vocals.  A decent effort from the artists, hopefully this gets some radio rotation because the riddim is a good one as well. She also spoke about the process in getting the hair extensions, styling herself, creating jobs, scheduling her life, her life outside of athletics and giving back to Jamaica in many ways.
