Don’t worry about a thing. Recently, Automotive brand Hyundai announced their sponsorship of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, and a campaign followed shortly. Recruiting US Band Maroon 5, they released a Commercial that had them covering one of the legendary Reggae Artist Bob Marley’s biggest hits, “Three Little Birds“. The song was released in 1977 as track 4 on Bob Marley & The Wailers’ “Exodus” album, and in 1980 as a single. This is the second time the song has been used in a campaign for Hyundai as it was performed by Stephen Marley and Jason Bentley in 2013. The song has enjoyed numerous covers over the years, and features in various films, ads, and soundtracks for sports teams.

Looking like a scene out of Mad Max, the trio come through with another hit on their hands along with a bunch of dancing ladies and Road Warriors! Directed by Marco Ruiz a.k.a. Frame X God, you’ll need a large Popcorn with extra butter as this looks like a release big enough for the Theaters! The single is currently available on all your favourite streaming services. Earlier this year, US Pop Artist Christina Aguilera announced her 8th studio album, “Liberation“. With a couple singles out, fans were looking forward to what the songbird had in store as she found herself staying busy with other activities in recent years. On the album, she found herself collaborating with Reggae Artist Keida, and Dancehall Artist Shenseea on the track, “Right Moves“! Produced by Che Pope, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, and Marcos “Kosine” Palacios, the 3 ladies have their eyes on the men who know how to woo and seduce them with all the right moves. From having chills running up their spines, to having their bodies explored like iPhone apps, the men have to come correct when it’s time to get down. A great combination of Reggae, Dancehall, and Pop on this one, and a unique addition to Aguilera’s project. Happy Throwback Thursday (and Happy World Cup day)! Today we bring to you another in our “Quick Throwback” series. This time around we go back to the year 2005 with the birthday boy Protoje and check out, “The Feeling“! Off his “Lyrical Overdose” mixtape, “Diggy British” hops on a Hip Hop instrumental done by Producer 9th Wonder (off his Black Album Rejects beat tape) to paint the picture of him being a Ganja Smuggler. From enjoying the finest herb, to trafficking it, to getting a rush from dodging the law, Protoje is the one for all your smoking needs.

Since his mixtape, Protoje has worked his way up to releasing his first single “Arguments“, and became one of the prominent figures in the new wave of Reggae artists in recent years.
