With his name being spread to a larger audience and a debut album on the way, Popcaan has come a long way from being a former member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire. Tonight he had a chat with Winford Williams about the things that are going on in his life. Here he spoke about his former boss’ guilty verdict and sentencing, gaining popularity overseas and his experiences, staying away from conflicts and being a big part of his family, his debut album “Where We Come From“, and his upcoming performance in Jamaica. Winford Williams also gave Popcaan some words of encouragement in the end and I also liked how he spoke about his little brother’s progress. Reggae is for the people worldwide and today’s video is no exception. Lucas DiPasquale is a singer who covers popular songs on his Youtube channel and in his latest video he covers Dancehall’s own Popcaan. With the help of a microphone and guitar, Lucas gives us acoustic versions of Popcaan’s hits. Very great effort here as he caught the lyrics that were done in Patois (Jamaican creole) very well.
