Coutain’s Mind Is On Matrimony In Tano-Produced “Wedding Band”

The holidays are a time for unity, a time for long lasting memories, and a time for love. For Trini Recording Artist Coutain, he’s thinking about something bigger in the love department, with someone special pushing him to act on it. When the time is right, he’s thinking about things like a “Wedding Band“.

Produced by Tano, Coutain has Wedding bells on his mind and more in, “Wedding Band”. When a Man is in love, he’s coming to the parents’ doorstep for his lady’s hand in Marriage. The Artist shares a lot about his lady, and the hold she has on him. With all that in mind, he’s laying everything down, with every intention to spend the rest of his life with her. The single is accompanied by a Music Video directed by the Twin Island Company, and it finds Coutain reaching out his potential Mother-In-Law for her Daughter’s hand in Marriage, and we see scenes where the couple is interacting with each other. A fun visual for a fun single that has been making its rounds for a while, and is expected to inspire a few proposals this holiday season.

Elephant Man Aims For The Wedding Playlists With “Say She Never”

Picture the scenario: you found the love of your life, you want to spend the rest of your life with that, Marriage would be the next move, right? If you’re ready to take it to the Altar, you’re gonna need everything right from what to wear, to who will be attendance, to the location, to the music. Speaking of music, how about some Elephant Man to the list? Check out his latest release, “Say She Never“.

Produced by GateCitizens for Energy God Productions, Elephant Man scored a one-in-a-million lover in, “Say She Never”. Remixing a bit from Stephanie Mills’ 1980 hit single, “Never Knew Love Like This Before“, Ele gives some detail in the kind of loving that he’s experiencing from this Woman, and the energy that she’s receiving from him. You know Ele’s knack for remixing popular songs, and you’re going to rock with this one. With a Music Video directed by Rojhay Anderson, Elephant Man took on the role of a Pastor who would officiate the Wedding between popular TikTokers Rosealee and Akeem. The festivities don’t end there as we see everyone partying away at the Resort with appearances by a number of familiar faces including the legendary “Dyema” (Vybz Kartel fans know her well). A clip from the video would go viral over the past weekend, with many sharing congrats and well wishers, to others doubting the authenticity of the clip, to others either complaining about not being committed to, or not being a first choice for past lovers. Marriage is a beautiful thing for those who believe in it, and it may last a lifetime if you include Elephant Man in it to bless it.

OLDIES SUNDAY: Alborosie Ft. @EtanaStrongOne – Blessing (2008)

It’s a new month! Welcome to June, a.k.a. the Wedding month for many. Big up those who are tying the knot this month, but what’s on your Wedding Playlist? Luckily for today’s “Oldies Sunday” selection, we have a suggestion. Check out Reggae Artists Alborosie and Etana’sBlessing“.

Co-Produced with Clifton “Specialist” Dillion and released through Forward Recordings in 2008 and VP Records in 2009, Alborosie and Etana delivered what would become a part of many Wedding soundtracks in, “Blessing”. The duo share the joy of being together, joining in hearts and love, and emphasize that their union was a divine creation. The combination of their unique vocals over the powerful production make for a great listen, and shortly after its release, it became a hit. “Blessing” was featured on Etana’s debut album, “The Strong One” in 2009, and in 2014 on the “Alborosie & Friends” album. While we don’t have chart information on the track, it became a top charting song for many listeners worldwide.

Since the release of “Blessing”, Alborosie went on to have a fruitful career in Reggae. The Italy-born Artist scored more hits and released more albums, cementing his place in the culture. Etana went on to become a Reggae powerhouse, becoming the first Female Artist in nearly 20 years to be nominated for a GRAMMY. She has amassed a number of hits, but “Blessing” remains one of her biggest collaborations.

Thank you Alborosie And Etana For This Classic!

OLDIES SUNDAY: Dennis Brown – Inseparable (1987)

It’s Wedding SZN! For the month of June, Oldies Sunday will feature some love songs that can be a great addition to your Wedding Playlists, and could be the official song to dance to. Today we close off the month by looking back at the late Dennis Brown’s 1987 track, “Inseparable“! Produced by Willie Lindo, this was through the UK J&W Records. The song features Dennis Brown professing his love for his significant other, celebrating how much his search for love is no more, how much she means to him, and just how they click together. A song that’s perfect for the Wedding reception, it’s one of Dennis Brown’s most popular love songs. The track was featured on his 1987 album of the same name.

Dennis Brown started out as a child star, and thanks to the many hits over the years, he became the “Crown Prince of Reggae“! July 1 will mark 20 years since he left this earth as a result of a heart attack and a collapsed lung, but he continues to live and inspire many through the music.

If you’re loving the selections, don’t be afraid to let us know. Check out the track below, and share with a friend. Show us some love/follow us on Twitter and Instagram at @13thStreetPromo.
