Dropping some gangsta Jamaican Hip Hop today is artist Gully Cash. This is first offering off his upcoming “Trill A Yaad” project that has been in the works for a while and it sounds like it’ll be a banger. On this morning’s “Ebro In The AM” show on Hot 97, Dancehall artist Tifa was a featured guest. Here she spoke on her music, being dubbed “Queen of the Dancehall“, her influences, being a part of the “On The Reggae Tip” event, wanting to be one of the top Dancehall artists making it big internationally, maintaining a level of professionalism in her career, and proving many wrong. Tifa also handled her own on the microphone where she performed “Back It Up” and other songs. I liked this interview and Tifa handled herself well and represented Jamaica well. Tifa’s been on a good run as of late with the new record deal, Headphones and her singles so she has a right to wear the crown. After hitting the airwaves with the single, Toian now hits your screens with the music video for “Rude Boys“. Shot in Montego Bay, we see the lovely Toian hanging out with her rude boy and his crew, travelling with the crew on bikes, and observing the scene. Very cool visual, it looks like a scene from a movie. Gave me an idea of seeing this being a mini movie with some good acting and storyline. Mama warned her but her heart yearns for the rude boy.
