Chris Brown’s “Loyal” has become quite a popular track worldwide, so much so that many have crafted remixes to the song. Today, Ishawna tackles the hit song in the form of a counteraction. Here she speaks on the disloyal men, not needing the stress that come with them, “Royalty over loyalty“, and states that for every action there’s a reaction when it comes to disloyalty. Don’t call her a witch, she’s just speaking her mind. What do you think? Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Vybz Kartel, despite his current situation, showed us that he had a serious work ethic with the slew of new songs that are being released. With a single on DJ Sunshine’s “Wul Dem Riddim” comes “Nuh Play Roun Wid Fire“. Here the Gaza boss proclaims that he and his crew are nothing to be messed with and like the car Tyre, they run the streets. At this rate, will there be anymore songs to keep the fans happy over the next few years? Or will there be means and ways to make new recordings? Special shout out to

With his name being spread to a larger audience and a debut album on the way, Popcaan has come a long way from being a former member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire. Tonight he had a chat with Winford Williams about the things that are going on in his life. Here he spoke about his former boss’ guilty verdict and sentencing, gaining popularity overseas and his experiences, staying away from conflicts and being a big part of his family, his debut album “Where We Come From“, and his upcoming performance in Jamaica. Winford Williams also gave Popcaan some words of encouragement in the end and I also liked how he spoke about his little brother’s progress. Switching up the gender role today is Deejay Spice with her new video. Titled “Like A Man“, Spice speaks on the gender inequality in Dancehall and asks if she would be respected more if she was a male deejay and dropped different lyrics. She also introduces “Splice“, the male version of Spice which was rather hilarious and shows her on camera diversity. If she deejayed like Vybz Kartel or tatted her eyes like Alkaline, would she be respected more? Interesting music video from the deejay. Mavado says his moves will “tie” the ladies today in his new video. Titled “Tie Yuh (Persian Mat)” and directed by Antwan Smith, Mavado hits the beach with the ladies and lets them know that he’ll provide them with the greatest feelings on his Persian mat. Great visual here as the ladies treat us to great eye candy and the beach providing the backdrop is excellent. The end of the video gives us his other single titled “Friends W/ Benefits“.
