One of the more talked about performances came from the likes of Wyclef Jean. Not a stranger to the Jamaican stage, Wyclef started off his set with a dubplate from the late Whitney Houston before going to a few of his hits and freestyles. One of the more anticipated events happened last night at Sting 30 and it was the clash between Lady Saw and Macka Diamond. With many celebrating Tessanne’s success, how many of us knew her before The Voice? Onstage TV released her first interview to show you how she was before it all. Here she spoke about her debut album, her hit single “Hideaway” and it becoming a classic, her upbringing and her start in the music business, working the band Mile High and Jimmy Cliff, her career at the time, her future ambitions and more. Shaggy really had the vision. With Tessanne’s recent success, it’s only right that we hear Shaggy’s take on all this with Onstage.
