Recording Artist RR aims to be seen as one of the best in the biz. With singles like “Crazy In Love” and “Dat yuh Wah” gaining popularity, many still don’t know the artist born Renee Reid. Get to know her below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

1: Who has influenced you most in the music industry?

RR: My Family and Close friends already stamped in the industry have influenced me most. Aiding me in pursuing my Dream and development as a Rising Female Songstress.

2: How did you come up with the name RR?

RR: It was easy for me as my Christian and Surname initials are RR for “Renee Reid”. A colleague of mine agreed on my Movement called “Regal Recit” Regal- Expressions and Charisma and Recit- Solo Voice.

For some, “Dutty Pop” Artist Kris Kelli is a rookie, but to folks like me, she is a veteran in the game and today she drops a new tune. Titled “Me & You“, this features the biggest boss in the game, Rick Ross. Over a familiar sample, Kris speaks on holding down her man, them forming an unbreakable bond, and together they can conquer the world while Rozay spits lines about his Boss Lady making moves with him. A dope combination here off Kris’ upcoming “3rd World Problem” project. Marvin and Tammy, Hov and Beyonce, Kartel and Shorty. Titled “The Truth” and shot in Haiti, Mavado speaks on the hardships he’s faced and how he’s determined to overcome them while we see him interact with the Haitians. Finally premiering the visual to his biggest hit this year is Christopher Martin with “I’m A Big Deal“. Directed by RD Studios and featuring cameos by the likes of Comedians Prince Pine and Fat Skull, Reggae Artist Keznamdi, and Footballers Ian Goodison and Ricardo Gardner, we see Prince Pine and his friends abandoning a faulty car and upon their journey ending up crashing Christopher’s Pool Party. With scenes of bike riding, having fun in the pool and dancing, this is the perfect video for the summer. Enjoying his stay in Jamaica, Hip Hop artist Safaree decided to shoot a video for one of his favourite songs. The video, titled “StuntMan“, was directed by Jay Parpworth for Stunt Films and shot in NannyVille, Kingston. In the video we see SB walking through the community, interacting with the residents and makes it known why he’s “Stuntman“.
