First off, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to our readers, viewers, subscribers, and connoisseurs of music. May the holidays bring some joy, some good times, and help to repair wounds and bonds. What better way to celebrate the holidays than to share a performance? We know Ministers of Government and Politicians rule the stage with talking points, but what about those who have other talents? Leader of the People’s National Party (PNP) Mark J. Golding, MP was never afraid to share his talents, and today delivers, “Someday At Christmas“.

Covering the 1967 classic by Stevie Wonder, Mr. Mark J. Golding spreads some holiday love with a performance of, “Someday At Christmas”. Emphasizing that the word is “Love”, Golding is joined by fellow Singers including Duane Stephenson to share something that is beyond political aspirations. While many still aren’t feeling the holiday spirit, we hope today is the start for many to regain it come Christmas 2026. We send love to those who are missing someone special today, those who are on the job, those who have lost hope, and those who still believe, may there be even for a moment some smiles, and love. As the year comes to an end, the “WYFL Riddim” by DJ Mac has been picking up steam with a number of Artists hopping on it. Whether authorized or not, the Dancehall streets are flooded with fresh recordings. Brooklyn/Trinidad-based Recording Artist Young Devyn wants to join in on the fun with the release of, “Everything Up“.

In a video directed by Jsitez, Young Devyn takes a crack at the “WYFL Riddim” with the release of, “Everything Up”. The Riddim joins a number of DJ Mac releases that enjoyed viral love this year, and Devyn continues to keep her pen sharp as she gears up to release her “Devyn” album in 2026. One thing for sure, if there’s a beat laying around, expect a Young Devyn remix.

Yesterday (Dec. 23), Dancehall Lyricist Skillibeng celebrated his birthday. With a new year here, expect a lot more greatness from the mind of Skilli. 2025 found him in more places, collaborating with high profile acts, and expanding his brand to even more markets. As a part of his birthday celebrations, he shared the video for, “City“.

Produced by Madenka, Skillibeng is all about his prowess, the money, the Women, and the rides in, “City”. With an accompanying visual, he hits the streets, burning rubber thanks to his muscle car, and showcasing that he’s good wherever he goes. He’s a Gold-selling Artist, and we looked forward to calling him a GRAMMY-nominated Artist for 2026, but maybe in 2027. All the best to the “E Syde” Lyricist on his new year, and may he see many more. Don’t size up wid Skilli.

The time is pretty cold, freezing in some places, and heat is needed. Dancehall’s “Energy God“ Elephant Man understands the assignment, and looks to bring some to the world. Always ready whatever the Weather, he steps up with the visual for the new single, “Gal U Body Hot“.

Directed by King Simeon Di Great, Elephant Man brings something hot for the cold times in the form of the video for, “Gal U Body Hot”. As the song suggests, the temperature will be rising as we’re treated to a visual showcasing some beautiful Women, who know how to make things caliente. Produced by DJ Mac, Ele takes over the “WYFL Riddim” that is currently holding firm in Dancehall. The ladies love Ele, and he continues to put them in the spotlight through song, something he has been consistent with in his 30+ year career. Some have coats, some have fires and thermostats, we get a spicy visual featuring a few hot girls. Keep this one sizzling.

We’re just a couple of days away from Christmas Day, but the music will be playing before then. We understand that many of us aren’t feeling the holiday season, but we hope to bring back a few cherished memories through our selections on “Oldies Sunday“. Today’s Christmas selection comes from Dancehall Artist Dada Wasp with the track, “True Love Christmas“.

Produced by Sonny Ochiai and Trevor Lyn for Tachyon Productions and released through Alpha Enterprise in 1989, Dada Wasp had a lot to be thankful for in, “True Love Christmas”. A time when lovers are preparing to gift their significant others, Wasp was definitely in the Christmas mood as his lady showed him in more ways than one how much she cared for him. Everyday found the Deejay enjoying a new gift, and he showed his appreciation throughout. “True Love Christmas” was a Dancehall remix of the 1909 English classic “The Twelve Days Of Christmas” Christmas Carol, and gained some attention for the Deejay following its release. It was featured on the Alpha Enterprise Compilation titled, “Reggae Christmas From Jamaica“. This is our last Christmas-themed “Oldies Sunday” for the year, and we hope you all get to enjoy the holidays, even for a little bit.
