@Troyton_TM Is A “Dancehall Bully” On New Riddim.

International Producer Troyton of Troyton Music, is quite optimistic that his latest Riddim project titled Dancehall Bully, is one of the biggest in the Dancehall circuit. The star-studded project was only released a little over a month ago, but is already making the charts and taking over the streets. Dancehall Bully tracks are featured on BBC 1xtra and many more stations, locally and Internationally.

Dancehall Bully featured artistes such as Aidonia, Mavado, Demarco, Jahmiel, Busy Signal, Charly Blacks, I-Octane, Moshan and Theron, and was released on August 26, 2016. Dancehall Bully is distributed by 21st Hapilos, and is available on iTunes, Amazon and all other digital outlets for purchasing. “The Riddim is already creating waves in Dancehall space. It is one of the most talked about Riddims right now, especially since Mavado’s song is seen as a diss track to fellow Deejay Popcaan,” said Troyton.

Troyton is currently in the studio working on another Riddim project for next year. This project is called True Emotions and is set to be released early January. “I am targeting audience worldwide with my productions; I do good quality music and try to incorporate different genres,” said Troyton.

Fans can keep up with Troyton via Instagram:@troytonmusic.

@IshaBlender Has An “Epiphany”!

Isha Williams was a Toddler in the early 1990s, a period of cultural awareness in Dancehall led by a phalanx of Artists, including her father, Everton Blender. Strongly influenced by his message, she followed his path into music as Isha Blender. Her first EP, Epiphany, will be released in October. It contains seven songs with Don’t Be Used, an acoustic number, being the lead.

Blender first recordings began at age 12 with the first being Bad Boy, produced by her father for his Blend Dem label. She continued to record sporadically while attending Garvey Maceo High School in her native Clarendon. Shortly after graduation, she migrated to the United States, settling in South Florida where she is a registered nurse. “Because my dad’s an Entertainer, people think you have to do the same thing, but it doesn’t have to be,” she said. “I kept going away from music, but I was pulled back like magnet to steel.”

Epiphany also contains Testimony, a duet with Capleton, Tonight, Joy, and Babymother. Capleton and Everton Blender were part of the Roots Renaissance of the 1990s that was led by Yasus Afari, Garnet Silk and Tony Rebel. Everton Blender had a series of big hits back then such as Lift Up Your Head, Family Man and Blend Dem. While she counts the ‘old man’ among her biggest influences, Isha Blender says she gets a different vibe listening to different genres. Neo-soul artistes Erykah Badu and Jill Scott, as well as homegrown acts Nadine Sutherland, Etana, Tessanne Chin and Ikaya are also favourites. She is hoping Epiphany will be a career definer. “I want to be an household name as Isha Blender. At the same time I want my songs to uplift and motivate like my Dad.”

Splicerr Needs To Get Paid On New Single!

US based Recording Artist Splicerr is making moves with his new single, Need To Get Paid. The track was officially released earlier this year and has since taken the market by storm. Splicerr, who has been in the music business for the better part of two decades, has reshaped his focus to record and produce music that can teach, inspire, and is relevant to a global audience. This objective was realized with the release of this entertaining commercial track and showcases the Artist’s talent as a Singer and a Producer. “Some Artists pursue a musical career because of their quests for fame and fortune, others do it because creating music is what they are mostly talented at. For me, music is a tangible expression of a spiritual and life conception,” expressed Splicerr.

Need To Get Paid is a part of his new EP titled Mid Life Crysalis which was done for Reggae Gaps, the company that is presently handling his affairs. You may know Splicerr for the hit collaboration with Dawn Penn tilted You Can’t Test my Sound that was released in 1994. In 1996, Splicerr crafted another hit in the song Montell, a response to the then popular song Sketel on the Steelie and Cleevie produced Gigi Riddim. Nowadays Splicerr, deep in his faith, appears far removed from the young man who recorded his 20 year old hit. His renewed and introspective views have led him down a path that has reshaped his career in music.

Splicerr is currently working closely with Mr. Biggs of Platinum Camp Records and promises more music of this nature to come.

@Real_iBlackLion Kicks Off His Comeback Campaign With “No Pain”!

Fresh from setting off his comeback campaign, IBlack Lion marches on with the soulful track, No Pain. The song is one of the favorites from his 7 track EP, Story Of A Dream. Produced by UK based Ras Blinga Records, the track is distributed exclusively by Vpal. The EP itself is produced by Boss Dove Records and finds IBlack Lion in the familiar place of positive, feel good music.

The EP which was released in August 2016 is being distributed by Zojak Worldwide. With the positive feedback that he has been garnering from this project, it is safe to say that IBlackLion is on route to new heights of success. IBlack Lion says the inspirational track is his way of using Reggae Music as a vehicle of change for conscious upward mobility. “The single has been getting a great response from the International market, gaining traction especially in the UK, the US, and in the Caribbean. I am very happy to have reinvented myself in this way.”

Since the release of the track, IBlack Lion has performed at major reggae shows in the British Virgin Islands, Barbados and the Turks and Caicos, and looks forward to a few more upcoming shows later down in the year. The accompanying video which was released last month on YouTube has garnered over ten thousand views in a short time span and continues to grow in views.

Hip Hop, Reggaeton & Dancehall Collide On “Make It Flow”!

Top Selector Tony Matterhorn, rising act Yung Whoa and hit International Artist Nox has combined efforts for a Dancehall, Hip Hop and Reggaeton masterpiece. The song, titled Make It Flow, was produced by hit Producer JL, under the supervision of Platinum Camp Records CEO, Mr. Biggs.

Tony Matterhorn is known widely in the Dancehall arena for his bold personality on and off stage as an Entertainer; Yung Whoa is the newest sensation on the Latin market, and Nox is known for his hit combinations with the likes of Missy Elliot, Chris Brown, Scott Storch and a few other big names. The song showcases a fun and exciting dance craze that has embellished each of the markets respectively.

According to Mr. Biggs, the idea was to bring three major talents together from different markets to create something fresh. “Whatever I am working on, it must have an International appeal and this song is no exception. It is fresh, it is hot and it was a great team effort from everyone and we are looking for great things to come.” Make It Flow was scheduled to be officially released later this month, but with the preliminary release doing so well, the team decided to drop the single earlier. The track is currently dominating the entire Latin market and gained a buzz in the Caribbean and the US.

“I am confident that this single is going to take this world by storm. It has far exceeded my expectations and has become a hit overnight on Social Media, garnering thousands of likes and shares,” Said Mr. Biggs. Plans are already on the way for a video for the single in early October. Fans will be happy to know that the song can be purchased from all digital platforms including iTunes and Amazon Music.

In addition the team has spearheaded a Dance Competition for the best female Dancer that submits a video performing this song. The prize for the best entry is USD$500.
