Dancehall Artist Masicka is a King. Not a Burger King, but a Dancehall King. Having solidified his name for well over a decade in Jamaican music, he put in the work to be where he is. Despite beefs, controversies, and jeers from detractors, he found the balance with hit singles, International deals, National recognition, and a number of accolades. He has a right to take the Crown, and his 3rd album “Forever Reign” looks to maintain his stance.

Featuring 17 tracks, Masicka charges with authority for his new “Forever Reign” album. No crazy rollouts, no unnecessary methods for attention, just solid. music, and a showcase of Dancehall excellence. Like his previous albums, he has something for everybody, from street singles, to something for the ladies, to motivational music. The years have passed, and his growth in Dancehall is evident, with his sharp lyricism intact. Production on “Forever Reign” includes the likes of Attomatic Records, Dan Sky Records, Dunw3ll, Dre Skull, and Di Genius, while he shares the stage with Kraff, Lila Ike, Nigerian Artist Blaqbonez, and Damian “Junior Gong” Marley. The people crown him King, and while there are many in this league, he makes his place at the throne.

The streets needed more music from Manchester-based Deejay Raw Cashh, and he worked on delivering it. The past few months found him connecting with his fanbase, but controversy followed as well. Overall, he stayed working, and states still mad. Recently, he dropped more music in the form of the new EP, “Diamond In The Rough“.

Featuring 8 tracks, Raw Cashh keeps the streets busy with the release of the “Diamond In The Rough” EP. It’s still all about getting to the money, the fast life, and something for the ladies to enjoy. The Deejay provides the soundtrack for the hustlers, and you can expect the beasts to skate on the highway to a few of these tracks. Brainfreeze Records and BadNice Records collaborate on the production throughout, and Malie Donn is the sole guest feature on the project. Keep this one in rotation.

There was a point in time on Social Media, the phrase “Jah know, Witty” would be commonplace in comment sections. The phrase would put down Recording Artist Witty, but he used it as fuel to be great. While his music career had a shaky start, he found his footing when he released Rock-inspired Dancehall music. The attention from those releases grew so much that top Producer Kickraux showed interest in his sound, and their connection resulted in a number of collaborations. Over the weekend, they dropped a new addition called, “LIVE LIFE LARGE“.

With a 2 track EP, Kickraux and Witty look to dominate the music spaces with “LIVE LIFE LARGE” setting the tone. If you’ve heard their previous collabs, you’re in for even more Rock Dancehall tunes, further expanding Witty’s catalogue. Kickraux ensures the lyrics get the right sound, and fans are going to demand even more music. With just an appetizer here, we look forward to their next development. She has sung about love and life, and has used her platform to promote self love and black love, and speak out against colourism, racism, and bigotry. With a few years in and a number of singles released, she looks to elevate her career with the release of her debut EP, “Ad Astra Per Aspera“.

Featuring 6 tracks, Lola Jaan tells her story of life, love in all forms, making connections, dealing with conflicts, and more on her debut EP, “Ad Astra Per Aspera (To The Stars Through Hardship)”. Featuring 13 tracks, Buju Banton salutes the old school, shows why he’s a legend with the new “Too Too Bad” album. The Deejay is in his element here, showing no signs of aging when he takes over the booth. The album has a mix of everything for every kind of Buju fan, and has elements of the 80s and 90s, times where a young Buju made strides. The ladies will love it, and the brothers will respect it.
