A Gaza We Seh As Vybz Kartel Jumps On @MajorLazer X @PartyNextDoor’s “Run Up Remix”

The “World Boss” is really living up his role as one of the hardest working Deejays despite his current situation. Earlier, the good folks at Major Lazer unleashed a special remix of the Nicki Minaj and PartyNextDoor featured “Run Up” with vocals from Vybz Kartel! Kicking it off with “Gaza Nation!“, Kartel goes into overdrive as he gives the ladies the lyrics that will have them clinging on to him like magnet to steel. He also made reference to having fun at the popular Summer Party series, Dream Weekend. A single that has had its share of remixes (including a Konshens Remix, and one by Dancehall Artist Khxos), but of course a Vybz Kartel version will make its rounds in various parties. Mi chain have so much Karat (Carrot), like me murda Bugs Bunny! Listen to the track below.

It’s that time again for some new music fresh outta Montego Bay! Next up is the “Mobay Kingpin“, MoulaUE a.k.a. Moula Di Don! With a new project on the way, he starts off the week with “Big League“! Produced by Thomas Craiger, Moula talks that talk with a presence like a Mob Boss over a dark Production. Featuring Karma Crew and Daley who kick off lyrics like Snipers on a big payroll, this should hold you over as Moula makes his return. For those familiar with the trio, they’re also known as “KMT” so consider this a little reunion. Off Moula’s new “All U Go Get Until…” EP which sees a September 8 release date, check out the track below.

It’s “Crunch Time” for the Hip Hop “Supergroup“, The Council (Five Steez, Nomad Carlos, The Sickest Drama, Inztinkz) as their debut Album’s release comes sooner than you think. Teaming up with Kabaka Pyramid, Koro Fyah, and Massy The Creator, they unleashed their 5th single titled, “Misery“. With Inztinkz handling the boards, the Artists offer some social commentary as they detail the conditions faced in Jamaica and how frustrating it can be to the point leaving the Island could be an option. In a society where the blind is leading the blind, and the system barring out those who can make a difference, it really is dread out here. Florida based Rapper Alvii is getting his name out there in every way. We featured him recently on “Catch Up“, and now he delivers his first Mixtape! Titled “Adventures Of Trueself“, this 7 track project sees him covering topics about his day to day life, as well as showing that he can handle any of the self-produced beats that he takes on. Featuring Jamaican Rapper Slim I.D. as the only guest, the project shows us that Alvii can hold his own. He also pays homage to Ocala, Florida where he currently resides.
