Happy Monday, today we have new music from Canada based Artist Dre Osborne, and Dancehall Artist Langi a.k.a. Langi Di Future. With a mix of Hip Hop and Dancehall, they release “Like That“. Produced by krs., it’s all about the ladies as they each speak on the effects the ladies have on them when they’re near. She has the moves, has the right words, and when she’s around the vibes never end! “Like That” is marked as Dre Osborne’s first official single, but the Artist has been around for quite a while. He promises that 2018 will find him releasing more music, including a Mixtape. No word yet on a video for “Like That”, but he has high hopes on it making a mark in various places. The single is currently available on Apple Music, and other popular Streaming services. Artwork by RazSaintLaurent, check it out below!
After they made their debut last week with the single, the duo of Leno Banton and iotosh give us another take on their krs. produced “Simma“! Armed with Guitars and Jrdn Mrrs and Khari Kamau behind the lens, they give viewers an acoustic performance as they speak on losing a love to the world. Want a copy of the single? It’s available on iTunes! Live and acoustic versions give certain songs more oomph, “Simma” is one of those songs. Check out the video below.
Simma simma, who got the keys to the…wrong song, but there’s a Bimma involved in today’s new entry! REM Emperor Leno Banton has been having a great year thanks to his appearances at various events, and putting out dope music. Teaming up with the young Lion, Producer/Recording Artist iotosh (who has been making moves this year as well), they release “Simma“! Produced by krs., the Artists look back at their love interests as they reflect on having great moments, to losing that love to other men and materialistic ambitions. Listeners will relate to this as many relationships tend to end this way. From fluffing that pillow for that special person, to seeing them change into a whole different individual who lowered their standards. While Leno gave his signature groove on this, iotosh went in! Providing the Artwork is the lovely Monique Kidd a.k.a. Kidding Art! Some New Wave music fi yuh ears! Have a listen below.
Jamaican Producer Krs. has been making a name for himself for quite a while with his original Productions. The founder of Film Noir, he has produced many remixes and has been a part of many singles locally and Internationally including Canadian Artist Roy Woods’ “Gwan Big Up Urself“! Recently he got a hold of R&B Recording Artist Brandy’s classic “I Wanna Be Down” and worked his Production magic on it. Giving the 1994 single a face lift, Krs. takes the track on a Caribbean trip and even adds a Popcaan dubplate at the end as an added bonus. A dope listen and it is recommended that you keep it on repeat and tell him thanks on Twitter. Mo to tha, E to tha…check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
