Fresh off his Grammy wins is the lyrical don, Kendrick Lamar with something for the Black-conscious folks. Titled “The Blacker The Berry” and features Jamaica’s own Agent Sasco, they both tackle social issue of Racism in a very aggressive and thought-provoking way over the combo production from Boi-1da and Terrance Martin. NEW MUSIC: @KashKapri X @Shotti48 – KASHFLW

Playing on the word KA$HFLW, aside from the cliché, it directly creates a call to action for Kash Kapri who actually leaves room for Imije to have his own distinct flow on the track.  It’s quite obvious that the artistes never really parted ways because they complement each other well (hook).

Personally, I believe the bass on the track could be tweaked in addition to having the sonics turned up for my preference (I’d add it to my vehicle turn up playlist at that point lol). Gaz beats did a good job producing/mixing, my question is was there mastering done and if so, who did it? There is a level of evolution to be seen here overall. The track cover is dope; if nothing about your music is good, the one thing that can be used to speak otherwise is PROPER PACKAGING. Flow on point, lyrics on point. 876 Hip-Hop never disappoints.

Producer Kryss Ras has made a mark on the scene recently with his “Arctic Riddim“. Featuring acts like Ce’cile and Prodi, today’s entry comes from Konshens. Titled “Live My Live“, Konshens speaks on ensuring he stays on the right path, encouraging the yutes to make the right moves, being true to himself and focusing on his mission to be successful. Premiering their new single “Ants Nest“, this is a blend of EDM, Dancehall, Soca and Bass. While T.O.K. provides the vocals, Swick and Jillionaire provide the instrumental that sounds like a party starter. It’s about to get crazy on door steps worldwide thanks to the “Bad Gal” Ce’cile with her new single. Titled “Door Step” and produced by Kryss Ras Records on the “Arctic Riddim“, Ce’cile lets her man know what crazy things they can do when they’re alone. The single’s artwork alone can paint a picture of what can happen with the “Bad Gal” but if it gets too intense, you might need a cold shower (haha!).
