.@SarkAmbassador Seeks An Escape On “Release Me”!

Recording Artist/Creative Sarkastik Ambassador is back with new music! It’s been a while since the Trini Artist released content, but he had to take care of life outside booth, then get back to business. Today, we get to check out the new single called, “Release Me“.

Produced by Track7, Sarkastik Ambassador is protecting his heart on “Release Me”. He shares what has been bothering him, and seeing that his situation has not been providing any benefits for both parties, he has decided to make his exit. In a time where Mental Health needs to be improved, individuals have been removing themselves from various situations in search of peace, happiness, and less stress. Sarkastik Ambassador gives us a melodic delivery on “Release Me”, with Track7’s production making for a great soundtrack. Good to see him return to the music, we can expect more from him soon.

Chxpz Shares His Thoughts On “Traitor”!

Recording Artist Chxpz is back with something new. He has been making noise with previous releases all year, but has been keeping his focus on being a better person outside the booth. Still a long way to go before solidifying his space as a music legend, he is making sure that he has implemented the necessary groundwork to develop himself in that field. Today, we get to check out his new video, “Traitor“.

Directed by Dark Moon Cinema, Chxpz gets into his thoughts over a SimpleBoss Records production. With the location set on a highway, he battles with the voices in his head that either want him to do good, or get corrupt. He reflects on past experiences that have placed him in dark corners, but he emphasizes that he has a faithful heart, and he will persevere. The world is crazy, but with the right people and energy, Chxpz will be ok.

(I’m not surprised if Chxpz participated in his school’s Drama Club (big up Calabar High), he gives off that vibe in the video.)

.@Stalk_Ashley Keeps Her Distance From Envious People On “50 Rounds”!

When someone is successful, there are people who celebrate them, and uplift them. At the same time, there are people who are jealous of that person’s success. One must be careful of those kind of people as they take on different forms. Stalk Ashley is aware of this, and she stays focused on “50 Rounds“.

With an RD Studios directed video, Stalk Ashley finds herself being the target of envy on a Sonovic Music/Jaxx produced track. It can be stressful when you think that the people around have your best interests, but in reality some of them just want to see your demise. You don’t want to be Stalk Ashley’s enemy. .@PinkFoxMusic Finds Himself Mesmerized By Her On “W.D.Y.D”!

A few weeks ago, Dancehall Artist Jada Kingdom released the official version of her single, “G.P.P.. The track was enjoying viral success prior to its release, as it spoke about the effect she has on Men when they have a chance to be with her. While the track became the soundtrack for Women who shared similar scenarios, Recording Artist PinkFox wanted to speak for the victims. He gets to talking on the track, “W.D.Y.D. (What Did You Do?)“.

The self-produced “W.D.Y.D.” track finds PinkFox speaking out as a victim of the “G.P.P.”. With the first verse originally being a part of a “G.P.P.” remix he made a few weeks ago, PinkFox chose to give it new life as a single, and he found himself being mesmerized. The “Good Good” has its effects, and PinkFox is still under its spell, and he wants more. It’s something like a phenomenon, but results may vary. PinkFox has been making remixes over the past few months, is steadily growing his brand, and has a lot more music on the way. Expect “W.D.Y.D.” to make its rounds.

OLDIES SUNDAY: DYCR – Misunderstanding (2004)

They can ban the music everywhere else, but on this Blog, we provide a platform. Today is Oldies Sunday! Today’s selection will make you think, will have you in awe, and will make you laugh. Today, we go back in time to check out Dub Poet DYCR’sMisunderstanding“.

Produced by Black & White for DownSound Records and released in 2004 on the “Invasion Riddim“, DYCR shows us that misunderstanding can be dangerous when the wrong person’s involved. Released during the tenure of US President George W. Bush at the White House, DYCR goes into a story of a Farmer named Joe who lived a simple life. Never bothered to modernize himself, he was far removed from all the technological advances that we have all been accustomed to, even avoided reading the news. Despite all of that, he was able to sustain himself in the countryside, only coming to the town for supplies. One day, Joe got word that his family wanted to file papers in order for him to travel and live in the United States, which turned into something exciting for Joe. The happy moment soon turned into a serious, and a rather hilarious one that you have to tune in to learn about.

DYCR’s clever lyricism and straight-forward delivery made “Misunderstanding” one of his best pieces of work. “Misunderstanding” showed listeners that clarity is very important in conversation, and ignorance can make things go very left. “Misunderstanding” was a part of a run of singles from DYCR that found him traveling near and far performing his works, solidifying his space as one of the top acts in Jamaica during the early 2000s.

Since the release of “Misunderstanding”, DYCR went on to release more singles, and two albums. He is still active, spreading his work through Social Media, and performing wherever he is summoned. “Misunderstanding” remains one of DYCR’s most memorable releases.

Thank You DYCR For This Classic!
