Today, on December 5, 2013, Nelson Mandela passed away. The former South African President and South Africa Anti-Apartheid Revolutionary, was the first black South African to hold office and fought against racism, and demanded equal rights and justice in his own nation and for the rest of the world. Mr. Mandela has been an influence and inspiration to many no matter their colour, creed and location. Having been name dropped in many songs, he was seen as a hero to many.
