Here he spoke on his recent travels, his EP “Lifted“, contributing to the growth of Reggae Music worldwide, not switching his style, his new single “Fade Away” with Agent Sasco, and more. “A maaad sumn!” Today’s new music comes from two lyrical giants, Kardinal Offishall and Agent Sasco a.k.a. Assassin. Titled “OG“, they show respect those who had the streets on lock, and show us what it takes to be a real OG in their respective areas. I like this collab and with the dope production, this sounds like a banger that will have listeners chanting “OG!“. Look out for Kardinal’s upcoming “Kardi Gras Vol. 1” project. OLDIES SUNDAY: @SpraggaBenz3 x @AgentSasco x Red Square – Gi Wi Dem (2000)

With Agent Sasco a.k.a. Assassin being a fixture in entertainment news overseas, today’s Oldies Sunday takes you back to one of the first times you’ve heard the artist born Jeffrey Campbell. Titled “Gi Wi Dem” and produced by Ward 21 for King Jammy’s Production in 2000 on the “Trilogy Riddim“, this was a clique record where Spragga Benz gave many an introduction to his Red Square Crew. The crew, comprised of Assassin, Spragga Benz, Sugar Slick, Greg Hines, Briggy, Natty Chris, and Limousine, all dropped lyrics about being available for any woman that comes their way with the proclamation that they will always be in their thoughts, hearts and souls.

NEW MUSIC: @Khaos_Music – The Blacker The Berry (Freestyle)

Having a crack at the instrumental from Kendrick Lamar’s blazing “The Blacker The Berry” today is Khaos! Here he flexes his revolutionary muscle and gets at the oppressors and detractors who have made his people suffer for centuries. He also wants to give them a dose of their own medicine and show his people to think outside of the regular programming. With a mix of Assassin’s contribution, Khaos’ verse, though short, adds an effect to the already powerful single. Fresh off his Grammy wins is the lyrical don, Kendrick Lamar with something for the Black-conscious folks. Titled “The Blacker The Berry” and features Jamaica’s own Agent Sasco, they both tackle social issue of Racism in a very aggressive and thought-provoking way over the combo production from Boi-1da and Terrance Martin. NEW MUSIC: @AgentSasco x Zinc Fence Records – Badda Dan Dem (Dub)

Dropping new music is the combination of Zinc Fence Records and Agent Sasco. Doing a dubplate version to his “Badda Dan Dem (Rude Boy Shuffle)” single which was produced by Teflon and SOS Dynamikz, we hear Sasco dropping retro styled lyrics and showing off the “Rude Boy” persona over a production that would have you skanking while keeping a keen ear to the lyrics. This a is very dope creation here that will definitely get multiple replays, and the occasional “Buss A Blank” gesture. This version is not for the softies.
