Brooklyn Rapper Hop Cashay (Formerly Hop Da Great) is planning to drop his new mixtape this summer. Titled “Preconceived Notion: The Unusual Gift“, Hop drops off the trailer for it which features him talking about the greats like Michael Jackson, Prince, Tupac Shakur, Jay-Z, and Biggie Smalls. He also previewed his single “New York” at the end. Known for making thought provoking music, this mixtape could be something you pick up when it drops on August 1. Davis, we see Hop posted on a wall decorated with graffiti while rapping about how hard it is to live your life in today’s world while feeling like a lost soul. This is a big one, a clash of countries and genres of music. Major Lazer teamed up with Jamaica’s Aidonia, Japan’s Gachapan, Amsterdam’s Party Squad and Brooklyn’s Baauer to give a mix of House, Trap, Electronic, and Dancehall music. Titled “Smoker Shake Oh My! (Remix)“, this is a remix of the popular Baauer creation, “Harlem Shake“. Aidonia is heard chanting “Ganja Fi Bun!” along with other lyrics.
