Bringing their views to the Jamaica Gleaner youtube series are Patrick and Paul Gaynor otherwise known as Twin of Twins. Here they speak on the recent Anti-Gang laws that were proposed and how society and Dancehall music differ when it comes to political divide, crime and violence. The “Blame Game” has been played many times and the twins urge that should be anymore pointing of fingers, making Dancehall music the scapegoat and more unity and betterment of music and society. They also speak on how Dancehall practices the “Supply and Demand” rule when it comes to making music and also the “Jamaica has no gun factory” argument. A good watch here as these deejays display how intelligent they are and are more than just hitmakers. Check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Today’s new music comes from Denyque and the “World Boss” Vybz Kartel. Titled “Revenge” and produced by AdidJahiem Records, we hear Denyque letting Kartel know that she’s tired of his lies and deceit so she’s going to do her own thing in an act of revenge. Kartel on the other hand explains what happened between him and a few ladies and says she’s his “Today and Tomorrow” while the others mean nothing. A good effort from these two as they play the “Two can play that game” scenario. What goes around comes around. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Showcasing their lyrical prowess is the combo of Villanaire (Byrd Villain), Strykk and Zhem in this new music video. Titled “As Well” and directed by Steven Bernard, we see the artists play on the phrase “As Well” to big up various communities, highlight some of their activities, social issues and let you know how great they are on the microphone. Great effort from these three acts, definitely ones to look out for this year. Steven Bernard also provided a clean video “As Well“. What do you think?
