Intence Takes Centerstage In @Audiomack “Bless The Yaad” Series

Digital Music Streaming platform Audiomack continues to expand their presence and connect with Artists and their fanbases around the world. With their lineup of original content, they show diversity, and give Artists different avenues to showcase their talent. Recently, they launched their latest series, “Bless The Yaad”, a weekly series that highlights prominent Artists in Jamaica through a series of freestyle sessions. They made their debut on Wednesday September 29 with Singjay D’Yani, followed by Dancehall Artist Kyodi taking over episode 2 on October 6. For their 3rd episode, Dancehall star Intence takes the spotlight.

Seeing one of his biggest years yet, Intence has been blazing everywhere thanks to his massively popular single, the Countree Hype produced “Yahoo Boyz”. He is building a solid catalogue of hits, and has solidified his place as one of the top acts of the new generation of Dancehall. Armed with an unorthodox flow and clever wordplay, it was only right that he was selected to “Bless The Yaad”. Born Tashawn Gabbidon in the Kingston 6 community of Tavern, Intence made his official debut in 2017 with the single, “Jett Life”. Since then, he has accumulated a large following, and found success with the singles “Yeng”, “Dry Eye”, “Go Hard”, and “Through The Gate” to name a few.

“Bless The Yaad” is the Caribbean version to the popular Audiomack series, “Bless The Booth”. The series is executive produced by Tanya Lawson, with audio by TGUT and Flaire, and video by Sage English. The series premieres every Wednesday with a new featured Artist, and is filmed at the Reggae Legends Villa in Kingston, Jamaica.

Intence takes centerstage on episode 3 of Audiomack’s “Bless The Yaad” on Wednesday, October 13. The episode will be featured on Audiomack’s official Youtube channel, with a new one the following Wednesday. Check out the trailer below.

Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” Featured In New @Netflix Series, “Maid.”

It’s always good to hear some of our favourite songs in TV and Film, especially when you’d least expect to hear Dancehall, Reggae, or even Soca music in them. Known as one of the most sampled Dancehall track, Sister Nancy’s “Bam Bam” is still doing its rounds. This time around, it has made an appearance in Netflix’s newest series, “Maid“.

Featured in episode 3 of “Maid”, “Bam Bam” was produced by Winston Riley and released in 1982. It created history as it put Sister Nancy on the map for being the 1st Female Dancehall Artist, and the first to tour internationally as one. 2021 has been a great year for US based Artist Capella Grey. His “Gyalis” single was everywhere from parties, to becoming a Social Media fixture, to even being featured on a few of your favourite Podcasts and Playlists. While it had some controversy thanks to his Genius “Verified” feature not sitting well with some members of Jamaican/Caribbean Twitter, “Gyalis” is still a hit. On a mission to grow the song to new levels, Capella recruited Popcaan and Chris Brown for the official remix.

While Chris Brown brings his signature vocals and energy, Popcaan steps in like a true gyalis with his verse as “the ladies crown him King“. “Gyalis” gets some new life on the remix, and if you haven’t been familiar with the song, now is the time to take a listen. 3 different Artists, 3 different types of Gyalis, one dope song. Capella touches base with his Jamaican roots in some of his music, and promises to be one of more prominent names for years to come. Popcaan on the other hand has been pretty busy these past few weeks, when he’s not buying sneakers in the UK, he’s hopping on plenty songs. The Unruly Boss continues to thrive no matter what’s going on.

.@JesseRoyal1 & @SamoryI Keep Their Faith Strong On “High Tide Or Low”

Recording Artist Jesse Royal continues to make strides with his music. Still pushing his latest album “Royal“, he’s ensuring that good music will never die. The album has been getting positive feedback since its release, and Jesse is keeping up with content for it. The album’s opener “High Tide Or Low” is given the music video treatment.

Directed by Samo Kush, Jesse Royal teams up with Samory-I to give us a strong track that possesses powerful deliveries from both Artists as they trod through this life with their faith intact. Jesse keeps it lyrical while Samory-I gives us amazing vocals over Blaise Davis and Jordan Armond production. The visuals presented compliments the song really well, and captures the Artists in their element. Watch to the end for a cute moment courtesy of Jesse that emphasizes that at the end of the day, family is very important. “High Tide Or Low” was placed at the right spot on “Royal” so that listeners knew from jump that they’re in for a great listening experience. After the Storm is a calm, that’s why I hold on. Never let Jah go!

Digital Music Streaming platform Audiomack has been making the necessary moves to become the hub that artists and creators around the world can grow and benefit from. For years Audiomack has been highly influential, and has helped to launch and enhance the careers of many upcoming and established acts. Outside of providing the space for artists to upload their music, Audiomack has launched original content which include features from some of your favorite names in entertainment. 

Tapping in the Caribbean aspect of Audiomack, they included Dancehall Artists Alkaline and Konshens to perform in the platform’s popular “Fine Tuned” series earlier this year. On June 19, 2020, Jamaican Creative GyalKapone made a big step as a Recording Artist with the release of her debut single, “Never“. Since then, she has created a great demand for her music, and not a week has passed without someone hitting her up to know when the next track is coming out. “Never” got her name buzzing in some areas, and we believe there is a bright future for her in the field. She finally emerged on her birthday (Sept. 25) with a brand new track called, “Mission“.

Produced by Kahtion Beatz and BeatsByDemitri, Gyalkapone shows another side of her that will amaze, or shock her listeners. On “Mission”, she is in need of some millions, and with some like minded friends, she sets out to get it. With a commanding presence on the track over a sinister production, GyalKapone is just letting you know that if you co-operate with her nicely, no one will be harmed.
