Haitian-American Recording Artist Fridayy has been putting in the work. The GRAMMY-nominated Singer has been a part of Gold and Platinum-selling projects, and has proven his worth in the music scene. This time around, he looks to raise the temperature with the new single, “Baddest In The Room“.

Co-Produced with MOMBRU, Fridayy has his eyes on a Woman who stands out in “Baddest In The Room”. Tapping into some Island vibes on the production, Fridayy comes through with some smooth vocals, and this will have the ladies dancing away in their favourite outfit and drink all year. For over a decade, Dancehall Artist Masicka has grown from an upcoming Artist, to a young legend in Jamaican music. 2021 saw his career elevate to a new level with the release of his debut album, “438“. The critically-acclaimed project quickly built up anticipation for a follow up, and the Deejay promised to fulfill the request in due time. He announced his signing to the iconic Def Jam Records this past Spring, and went straight to work. Today, the finished work has arrived in the form of the new album, “Generation Of Kings“.

Featuring 17 tracks, Masicka looks to deliver another classic with the release of “Generation Of Kings”. Making his major label debut with Def Jam Records, the “Genahsyde Boss” is ready for the takeover. The Deejay gives us his usual great music for the ladies, the Gangstas, and the yutes here over solid production, but shows the listener that he has matured a lot in his career. Production include the likes of Dunw3ll, Mozeeko, Boi1da, and Fortune. Like his previous album, he brought along a few friends including Spice, Dexta Daps, Lila Ike, Chronic Law, Popcaan, Fave, and Fridayy. The conversation has already started about “G.O.K.” possibly being better than “438”, and while we won’t contribute to that, we encourage you to celebrate another milestone from an Artist dedicated to his craft. 1Syde till the land slide.

New content from Masicka is always good, and earlier he shared the visual for the new single, “Limelight“.

Directed by Ruppi for Now Or Never, Masicka finds himself in the hills away from the rest of the population. Taking the time to relax, reflect on good times, and realign his focus, we also get a few highlights of him taking the stage, and connecting with the people. It’s official, the “GenahSyde Boss” Masicka is now a part of the illustrious Def Jam Records roster. The Deejay looks to make a bigger impact in his career, and has already stated that he’s working on a followup to his critically acclaimed “438” album. Making his debut, he gives us the new single, “Pieces“.

Produced by Moz Zaro Hamm, “Pieces” is a collaboration between Masicka and Dancehall Artist Jahshii. The Deejays share their observations and challenges throughout their respective paths, but still provide motivation for those listening. No matter how tough it gets, you can always move forward and make things better. Like puzzle pieces, you fit them back in the right places, and make progress. Masicka and Jahshii share great energy and deliveries throughout the track, and fans of both Artists will enjoy the much anticipated First Nation x Genahsyde collab.
