UK based Recording Artist J Hus has been on fire this year thanks to his debut Album “Common Sense“, and his appearances on tracks from Krept & Konan, Stormzy, and more. With his “Bouff Daddy” single bubbling, he enlisted the assistance of the “Unruly Boss” Popcaan for the remix! Produced by Dre Skull, Poppy brings his flair to the track as he lets you know he’s in the streets like the white line, and doesn’t need to spend money foolishly to get the attention of the ladies. Flexing the “Unruly” way while J Hus shows us what the “Bouff Daddy” life is about. An early Christmas present for those who have been waiting, and another International collaboration for Popcaan. It’s no secret that Hip Hop Artist Drake is a fan of Jamaica’s music culture. From his choice of slang, to his affiliations, to his hometown being chock full of the Jamaican influence, it’s only right that his “Views” album gets some of the essence. Off the recently released album, Dancehall Artist Mavado is featured on Views’ 2nd track, “9“. “9” features a sample from the Deejay’s 2007 single “Dying” off his “Gangsta For Life” debut album. “Dying” was produced by DASECA Productions and features Serani. It’s not the first time both Artists have crossed paths as Mavado played a role in Drake’s “Find Your Love” video off “Thank Me Later“, and Drake was a guest during Mavado’s set at “Britjam 2011“. “Views” also sampled Beenie Man’s “Tear Off Mi Garment” on an updated version of “Controlla” which was previously leaked with Dancehall Artist Popcaan. “Controlla” also gave writing credits to Jamaican Producer Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor and Supa Dups. “Tear Off Mi Garment” was produced by Patrick Roberts and was released in 1995 on the “Urkle Riddim“. Popcaan’s “Love Yuh Bad” is also sampled on the Rihanna assisted “Too Good” and also includes Supa Dups in the writing credits. The track was produced by Dre Skull and is featured on Popcaan’s debut album, “Where We Come From“. Popcaan is currently affiliated with Drake’s OVO group. “Views” is now available on iTunes.
