.@Wretch32 Takes Over Masicka’s “Whites” For New Freestyle

You can’t deny it, Masicka’s “Whites” was one of the biggest Dancehall songs of 2024. The Dan Sky Records/Attomatic Records-produced track on the “Rooster Riddim” was everywhere, and continues to penetrate the streets. The track was loved by many, including UK Rapper Wretch 32. He loved it so much, that recorded a Freestyle over it.

For a little over a minute, Wretch 32 exits the G-Wagon to share a few bars over the Instrumental of Masicka’s “Whites” single. Tapping in with his Jamaican roots throughout, Wretch lets the people know he’s still a problem with the bars, and his flow is solid. The veteran Hip Hop/Grime Artist has been in the game for almost 20 years, and still has a presence that is respected. Given all the love that “Whites” has gotten, don’t be surprised if more Artists took a crack at the Riddim. Keep the flame burning Wretch 32.

The Summer may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean the festivities can’t continue. Recently, Drum & Bass Band Rudimental has added to the outside vibes with new music. They emphasize on the “outside” part with the visual for their new tune, “Ram Pam“.

Featuring Recording Artist Mystic Marley and UK Grime Artist Flowdan, Rudimental turns up the energy with “Ram Pam”. Mystic and Flowdan contribute with lyrics and great vibes, and you can help but feel charged up to this one. If you were a part of the recently-held Notting Hill Carnival in the UK, you may have seen Mystic connecting with the people in the streets, and Flowdan performing as we get a Visualizer to accompany the track. For those unfamiliar, Rudimental is a Platinum selling Band who has collaborated with Ed Sheeran, Stefflon Don, and Protoje, Flowdan is the first Grime Artist to win a GRAMMY and has enjoyed a successful career as an Artist and Producer, and Mystic Marley is the Daughter of Stephen Marley who made her debut in 2021 with the single, “Sad Girls (Cause Damage)“. 2019 saw Recording Artist JKinggz being very busy, and 2020 won’t see any change to that. With singles and projects out, he continues with the video for the new single, “No Fake Love“! Directed by the team of E.A.D., Polar Films, and RDCYF, both single and video features an appearance by prominent UK Recording Artist Laughta who fires off with her blend of Hip Hop and UK Grime throughout. The Ace Bankz produced track finds them making it clear that they have no time for fake people and the love they claim to have, being all about positive energy, and moving forward to achieving greatness and all that comes with that.

The St. Vincent and The Grenadines born/Brooklyn based JKinggz has a lot more in store for the year as he is currently working on more singles, and projects including the follow up to his “No Co-Sign” EP. He is also hitting the road to promote “No Fake Love” and more in the coming days. We encourage everyone to stay far from the fakers, as their negative energy and “love” will be your downfall.

“GodFather, man a OG…“

Earlier this year, the Quartet of “Godfather of Grime” Wiley, Dancehall Icon Sean Paul, UK Bad Gyal Stefflon Don, and “The Black James Bond” Idris Elba released their collaborative single titled, “Boasty“. As they joined forces to give us a bassy track to keep us feeling swaggy, it was only right they followed up with a music video. Directed by Henry Scholfield, we get a dope performance of the track by the four Artists (except Wiley part was replaced by Child Actor, Brooklyn Appiah) in four different locations (they don’t meet up in the end though). With his “Bouff Daddy” single bubbling, he enlisted the assistance of the “Unruly Boss” Popcaan for the remix! Produced by Dre Skull, Poppy brings his flair to the track as he lets you know he’s in the streets like the white line, and doesn’t need to spend money foolishly to get the attention of the ladies.
