NEW MUSIC: @MatomaOfficial x @Wale x @PopcaanMusic – Feeling Right

Dancehall Artist Popcaan has been a person of interest in the Hip Hop circles lately. From his contribution to Pusha T’s “Blocka“, to being affiliated with Drake’s OVO camp, to working with Young Thug, and now being sampled on Norway Producer Matoma and Rapper Wale’s new track. The single, titled “Feeling Right (Everything Is Nice)“, this is a feel good track featuring Wale dropping some chill lyrics over a Caribbean tinged production with Popcaan’s vocals from “Everything Nice” adding some more Island flavour. With the right push, this could be a big single and another great look for the “Unruly Boss“. Something to spin a few times over the Heroes Day Weekend and beyond. NEW MUSIC: @IAmVindon – Highest (Hotline Bling Freestyle)

Hopping on the popular “Hotline Bling” track today is Jamaican Rapper, Vindon. Renaming it “Highest“, Vinny flips the single into an ode to Marijuana and states that only the best of herbs can enter his grinder and his papers. The things weed can do. Blaze one for Vindon as he prepares to release his “2020 EP” in a few weeks. Send him a few bags too so he can pass a few stars. NEW VIDEO: @Jamie___XX x @PopcaanMusic x @YoungThug – Good Times

After blazing the airwaves and the streets for months, there is finally a visual for Jamie XX, Young Thug and Popcaan’s “Good Times (I Know There’s Gonna Be)“. Directed by Rollo Jackson, we see Jamie getting the crowd hype with the single in one location, Young Thug vibing in another, and Popcaan chilling on a balcony. Nice visual, while I like the placements of “Good Times“, I was disappointed in not hearing Popcaan’s verse in this. What I’ve found out recently is that this single has been featured in the soundtrack of NBA Live 16 so big ups to the “Unruly Boss” on the achievement. Titled “All In“, Vinny speaks on the rise of his career, putting his all into his music, staying on his grind, and testing his skills on the Riddim.
