Kyng Tavii has been hitting people with the Comedy for a while now, and he continues to put out content that will bring more people to his part of the world. While he does get into a few controversies here and there, he ensures that his work ethic doesn’t slow down. Back into music things, he drops the visual for, “Ain’t Havin’ It“.

Directed by YuhZimi Films, Kyng Tavii goes all out for his Clan movement, which consists of his many supporters from over the years. Tavii continues to find success on the music side, and this year may be the one that takes it to another level.Is he going to drop a full project any time soon? Guess we have to just wait and see. Digital music streaming giant Audiomack continues to set trends when it comes to highlighting quality music, and showcasing talented creators from around the world. The Audiomack world is filled with original content that has found favor with old and new users of the platform, and they continue to make their mark as the go-to streaming platform to build fanbases, and release unique content. They look to expand their dominance with the launch of their new Playlist series, “Made In Caribbean”.

“Made In Caribbean” is a quarterly new series that seeks to exhibit the ever-evolving style of the Caribbean Artist, the music genres that emerge from the Caribbean, and the DJs who are responsible for breaking these Artists and sounds. Derived from the success of Audiomack’s specially-curated Playlists, “Made In Caribbean” is the brainchild of Tanya Lawson, Director of Audiomack’s Strategic Marketing for the Caribbean and Gospel Music division, and is focused on putting the best on display. With 25 Islands to choose from, Audiomack will select a top DJ from each Island, who will then curate a Playlist that features homegrown talent.

“Made In Caribbean” promises to bring an extra boost to the local music industry, encouraging more Artists to go back to their roots when creating and representing the global stage. Top selectors from the Caribbean including Jamaica’s Boom Boom, DJ Spade from Turks & Caicos, Trinidad’s DJ Echo, Rusty G from Bermuda, and TroopahLive From the Virgin Islands, Guyana’s PriinceMuzik, DJ Quest from Antigua, and Haiti’s Michael Brun have been recruited, and are gearing up to launch their respective Playlists featuring their handpicked Artists.

In the meantime we get singles, including this new collaboration called, “Consistent“.

Produced by SpaceAgeRasta for Artekal Music, “Consistent” is a collaboration between Sizzla and US-based Rapper/Culinary Chef Cheflodeezy. Together they deliver motivational lyrics, and blend their sounds and influences for an enjoyable track. While Cheflodeezy steps out with a different energy, Sizzla gives us that classic falsetto throughout. Accompanying the new collab, is a music video directed by Steven Bernard. Earlier this week, couples of all sorts celebrated their version of love on Valentine’s Day. A lot of music was released this week in celebration of it, including US Recording Artists Don Toliver and Kali Uchis’ single titled, “4 Me“. The Artists, who are an item in real life, showed off not only their skills, but them being a winning pair right now. One addition in making their collaboration a big deal, was it sampling a Dancehall classic.

On Don Toliver and Kali Uchis’ “4 Me”, Dancehall Icon Beenie Man’s “Girls Dem Sugar” was sampled throughout! Released in September of 2000, “Girls Dem Sugar” featured US Recording Artist Mya, and was produced by The Neptunes. The track was a remix of Beenie’s 1997 hit “Who Am I (Sim Simma)“, and was featured on his 2000 GRAMMY-winning album, “Art and Life“. “4 Me” sampled various parts of the hit single, and is expected to become a favourite for fans and new listeners alike.”4 Me” will be featured on Toliver’s “LoveSick” album which is due on February 24.

Dancehall Artist Skillibeng continues his mission of being Internationally known in 2023. The Deejay hasn’t wasted any time securing collaborations with various International Artists and Producers, and taking the stage in various Countries in the name of Dancehall, and E-Syde. With many of your faves knowing him by name, he’s going up more levels. The “New Collab Alert” today is one with Rapper Nardo Wick called, “16CHOPPA“.

With a video directed by Jenzar, Skillibeng and Nardo Wick bring the guns out on “16Choppa”. Bringing some Jamaican badness to Florida, Skilli continues to show that his sound can go on anything. The Nardo Wick collab joins the growing number of Hip Hop Artists Skilli connected with, and the list includes French Montana, Ice Spice, Rich The Kid, DJ Khaled, and Busta Rhymes. The year will be an interesting one for Skillibeng, just be on the lookout for what he does next.

Today, November 30, we celebrate the birthday of a Dancehall legend. Many know of his many aliases including Mavado the Gully Gad, but his parents named him David Constantine Brooks! Mavado celebrates another year of life on Earth, and we celebrate his many works with our newest Playlist in a long while called, “Gully Forever: The Mavado Playlist“!

For over 9 hours, we bring to you some of Mavado’s greatest tracks. From breakout singles, to International collaborations, to even beef tracks, Mavado has done a lot of work for Jamaican music. Mavado has been influential to the culture, and has his place in being a part of one of Dancehall’s greatest beefs with Vybz Kartel, and forming an alliance that has divided Jamaicans for a long time. Salute Mavado wherever he is!
