There are some things that Beenie Man is not a fan of, and recently he was very vocal about them. Tonight on Onstage spoke on a few incidents and more. Here he spoke on being an Ambassador for Dancehall and not tolerating certain things being promoted, his incident with actor Bad Bwoy Trevor, urging more respect and responsibility in Dancehall, calling on the Government to provide more jobs, his thoughts on Jinx vs Usain Bolt, and his absence from “Best of the Best“. Being a Dancehall King, it’s only right to be vocal about things you disapprove of on the scene. We hope to see a follow up on Beenie’s campaign. With a great string of buzzing singles and a new business venture, Vanessa Bling has come a long way from facing possible jail time with Gaza Boss, Vybz Kartel. Now engaged, she stops by Onstage to say her future is guaranteed. In a special episode of Onstage, she spoke on her controversial single with I Octane, not having any time for Dancehall feuds, “Future Guaranteed” and other songs, her recent engagement, being a part of the Boom Energy Drink team, upcoming tours, and more. Bling also performed a few of her songs for Onstage. The Queen of “Eng Up” has been keeping herself pretty busy, and we look forward to more from her for 2015. Passing through the Hot 97 studio recently was Dancehall artist Kranium for the “Ebro In The Morning” show. Here he spoke about his single “Nobody Has To Know“, its popularity and the remix with Ty Dolla Sign, Drake liking the single and featuring it at his concerts, being signed to Atlantic Records, promoting other singles, releasing a mixtape in September, and being “single-ish“.
