Today we’re taking you back to the year 1987 with Recording Artist Lt. Stitchie! Here we feature his track “Great Ambition” which was produced by Jammy’s Records (King Jammy’s) on the “Kuff Riddim“. In the song, Stitchie speaks on being an ambitious young man while encouraging listeners to be ambitious, listing the goals he’d like to achieve including owning a home, and working to make all this possible. A key part of the single is his Dancehall remix of the 1956 American single, “Que Sera Sera” which was performed by Singer/Actress Doris Day.

Passing through the Hot 97 studio recently was Dancehall artist Kranium for the “Ebro In The Morning” show. Here he spoke about his single “Nobody Has To Know“, its popularity and the remix with Ty Dolla Sign, Drake liking the single and featuring it at his concerts, being signed to Atlantic Records, promoting other singles, releasing a mixtape in September, and being “single-ish“. After breaking Internationally, Kranium has done what a few overseas based Dancehall acts have done. Now fresh off his big signing with Atlantic Records, he joins Winford Williams to speak on it and more. Here he spoke on the details of his multiple album deal, breaking internationally, thoughts on a follow up single, not feeling any pressure in his career, and more. After having a monster hit in 2003 with “Turn Me On“, St. Vincent native Kevin Lyttle has managed to have a good music career but tonight he spoke with Winford Williams about his life since that song. Here he spoke about his relationship with Atlantic Records, his hit single and album including the success from them, losing his mother, maintaining his music career despite not having a bigger hit than “Turn Me On“, his start in the music business, endorsement deals, his single with Shaggy (Feel So Good), and more. Good to see Kevin still doing things for himself since that hit. While many may call him a “One Hit Wonder“, he managed to make that success stretch. After bowling fans over with the first mix, DJ Neeko once again teamed up with deejay Tommy Lee to drop another mixtape. Titled “Gaza Man Krazy: The Revamp“, Neeko took elements from the previous tape and made it even better.
