450 Shares Visual For “Pieces Of Me”

It’s been over a month since 450 released his debut album, “Pieces Of Me“, and things have been looking up. The Singjay has enjoyed high chart placements for his album, and it has been receiving positive reviews from a number of Individuals on Social Media, and Media platforms. As he and his Tru Ambassador Ent. team continue to promote the album, he unveils the official music video for the title track.

Directed by DaManiac Visualz and Jahvy Ambassador, 450 takes it to the Piano for a performance of his Weekday-produced track, “Pieces Of Me”. The video finds him providing some of his deepest lyrics, with a highlight of an MMA Fighter in training throughout. Aside from his signature girl tunes, 450 has released songs that shed a light on past experiences, and provide songs to motivate the listener. Produced by Reggie Crux and Neggle, Nisou deals with a bittersweet kind of love in, “Kit Kat”. She shares being in a relationship where there are tender moments, but it’s not something genuine and done for the right reasons. Despite sweet words and moments, they can’t patch up the real truth of the relationship, and walking away from this situation is the first step in loving yourself more. Nisou flexes with sultry vocals here, and she handles the production well for her debut. With a history of being in the performing arts, Nisou is ready for the main stage. OLDIES SUNDAY: Al Campbell – Trouble In The Dance (1984)

You ever heard a song so good or so popular, you didn’t know it was a remix? Today on “Oldies Sunday“, we’re highlighting an original that got partially lost because of its remix. We go back in time to check out Al Campbell’s “Trouble In the Dance“.

Produced by Rodguel “Black Beard” Sinclair and released through the Nura Label in 1984, Al Campbell shares his observations while attending a street dance in, “Trouble In The Dance”. The Singer details a few happenings at the dance like Police accosting him for some Marijuana, and Women plotting to fight to another Woman, and they set the tone for how bad it can get when you’re just attending an event to enjoy the music and vibes. “Trouble In The Dance” gained popularity when it was released, gaining airplay and being the record of choice for Selectors, but things started to sway when Dancehall/Reggae Crooner Frankie Paul took hold of the song and made his own version called, “Worries In The Dance” that same year. “Worries In The Dance” was produced by Henry “Junjo” Lawes, and Paul added more oomph to the track with extra lyrics and his unique vocal delivery. The song became a breakout hit for him, even though the Al Campbell original was still being played, Paul’s remix quickly saturated the scene.

Since the release of “Trouble In The Dance”, Al Campbell continued to release more music over the years. He still records Dubplate versions of the song, and many still recognize his original, despite the popularity of Frankie Paul’s version. Sometimes the original will set the standard, but a remix can overthrow its reign.

Munga Honorable & Bounty Killa Collaborate On “50 Caliber”

Any day is a good day for new music, and an even better one for solid collaborations. In a time where the people are tossing aside hurry come up Artists, the Vets are making solid moves. One of them is Munga Honorable, and he steps out blazing with the new single, “50 Caliber“.

Produced by Hilltop Records, Munga Honorable links up with the General Bounty Killa in, “50 Caliber”. The collaboration showcases two giants in their respective lanes, pairing solid lyrics with aggressive flows, and representing Dancehall to the fullest. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Terminal 4 Media, and it finds the Deejays in their element, while showing love to a number of their peers who are name dropped through placards. The collaboration drops ahead of Bounty’s return to New York on July 5, as the Deejay was granted a US Visa after being well over a decade away from the US market. Munga has been battling court cases this year, and hope things work out for the best. We look forward to more of these collaborations.

In a time where the prices are going up and the cost of living will have people rioting, Ziah wants to have the financial freedom that many of us dream of where we are never in need, and all issues are handled instantly.
