NEW VIDEO: @WeChiefMusic x @JetSetProfessor – Gyals From Brooklyn

After hitting us with the energetic single weeks ago, We Chief provides a visual to “Gyals From Brooklyn“. Directed by Sebastian Jiminez and shot in Brooklyn, New York at the Grand Army Plaza, Bushwick, Bed-Stuy and DUMBO, we see some ladies performing dance routines, a backyard party, men riding on small pink tricycles, and a cameo from Choreographer Blacka Di Danca. A good effort here as they aim to bring the same energy felt from listening to the song into the video. That Jean Jacket with the We Chief logo on the back is really dope. After wowing the audience at this year’s Reggae Sumfest, Baby Tash and Winford Williams had a chat about it and more on Onstage. Here she spoke about her experience on Reggae Sumfest’s Dancehall Night, the progress on her career since her win on Magnum Kings and Queens, and working with different producers. She also premiered a new music video. Good to see Baby Tash doing her thing, while many artists may get a quick start to their careers, others have to be patient and strike when it’s hot. Taking a trip down memory lane and back to the present with a special person is the aim in Prodi’s (Prodigal Son) new single. Titled “Love Me Like This” which was produced by Yawd Movement and armed with a Minnie Riperton sample, Prodi will have lovers reminiscing on the first day they’ve met, the first time they got close and thinking about how far they’ve come in their relationships. Titled “Ghetto Symphony“, their aim is to knock every artist off their chess table and leave a trail of bodies for future acts to see. After hitting the airwaves with the single, Toian now hits your screens with the music video for “Rude Boys“. Shot in Montego Bay, we see the lovely Toian hanging out with her rude boy and his crew, travelling with the crew on bikes, and observing the scene. Very cool visual, it looks like a scene from a movie. Gave me an idea of seeing this being a mini movie with some good acting and storyline. Mama warned her but her heart yearns for the rude boy.
