When the liquor gets to you there’s no telling what can happen. Tonight features a short film based off Dancehall artist Cham’s “Feel Good” single. Directed by Short Filmz Jamaica and YGF Visuals, the video starts off with two friends leaving a party and as they go their separate ways, one has an urge to end the night with a young lady. The rest of the video shows you what the liquor can do to your mind and this guy had a handful. Great video here that’s a bit of the comedic side and J. Wray & Nephew’s White Rum made a cameo appearance. I know many can agree how their mind can play tricks on them after having a wild night. What do you think? Today’s new video comes from Kabaka Pyramid. Titled “Liberal Opposer” and directed by Jason Lannaman for Arawak Studios, Kabaka drops conscious lyrics about fighting for what is right, tracing his lineage to Ethiopia, and living right in every way. This is one of Kabaka’s most popular singles so of course a video had to be shot for it. Off his “Lead The Way” EP, check out the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
Today’s new video comes from the combination of Major Lazer and Sean Paul. Titled “Come On To Me” and directed by Ruben Fleischer, we are treated to a mix of Oriental dancers, Oriental costumes, and Dancehall music over Major Lazer’s unique production. Very clean video here as the performers keep you glued to the screen while song keeps you moving. Off
With news of her boss given a prison sentence, and her upcoming trial, Vawnessa Bling stepped in a new direction and asked for “Mercy” on Onstage tonight. Here she spoke on how Vybz Kartel’s sentence affected her, being raised in the church and continuing to be a part of it, her new single “Mercy On Me Lord” and the feedback she has been getting for it, separating “Gaza Slim” from “Vawnessa Bling“, and handling all her music business on her own. Blign also premiered the music video for “Mercy On Me Lord“. With her trial coming in August, I do hope things will work out and we can hear more of “Vawnessa Bling“.
