The “African Giant” has been a topic of discussion over the past few months in regards to his love life among other things, but he’s doing what he does best, and that is deliver the music. Burna Boy has amassed success that is beyond measure for some, but he has worked his way up for it. With a new album on the way, he has been releasing a number of singles since last year. This time around, he’s giving us an “Update“.

Directed by UAX Studio, Burna Boy shares his continued rise, and his focus on receiving good energy daily in “Update”. The video features a mix of him enjoying a life of luxury, while other scenes promote strength (as shown in the “Tug of War” scene), unity, and gaining success. The video also pays homage to the “Soul Train” era of the 1970s. “Update” was produced by P2J, and is the second single off of Burna’s upcoming album, “No Sign Of Weakness“. The track also sampled Soul II Soul’s 1989 hit single, “Back To Life (However Do You Want Me)“. It’s Burna Boy’s season, and you can look forward to even more from him later this year.

He has been showing love to the ladies lately, but this lady holds a special place in the hearts, and on the screens of many. Skillibeng salutes “MissBNasty” in his new single.

Produced by P2J, Skillibeng drives in a different lane on “MissBNasty”. The Deejay shouts out the ladies who know how to handle business, and are not afraid to be wild. He is even more appreciative of them if they’re like the popular Adult Film star, MissBNasty. MissBNasty has graced the screens for a number of years with her various pieces of content, and has copped a few awards along the way. She makes the track even more special by making an appearance in the official Music Video, where she plays a Schoolteacher, and handling things in her own way. As a part of the single’s release, Skillibeng hosted an event hours ago, and invited MissBNasty for a special livestream event. Nigerian Afrobeats star WizKid returns to form with the release of his long-awaited album, “More Love, Less Ego“. The album was teased weeks ago, and has finally found its place in the collections of fans from around the world. The album boasts a heavy lineup, including Dancehall Artists Skillibeng and Shenseea, who join him on the track, “Slip N Slide“.

Produced by P2J, WizKid brought along Skillibeng and Shenseea for a track that aims to bring out the sensual sides of the listeners. They all deliver in their own way on “Slip N Side”, with Skilli and ShenYeng further securing more International collaborations to add to their growing discographies. Shenseea has been busy in recent months, and looks to dominate even more in 2023, while Skillibeng has been taking over various stages, and getting collabs with some of the biggest names out. Alicia Keys always come through with a motivational song. Having hits since the early 2000s, she has probably done it all. With her “Underdog” single touching many worldwide, it’s only right she did a remix. With Jamaica in mind, she called up Chronixx and Protoje to join her for the “Underdog (Remix)“. Featuring production from Grammy Award winning Producer Izy Beats, and Grammy nominated Producer P2J, the trio join forces and sounds together, and provide the light we need in these seemingly dark times. The world needs a lot of love.

This isn’t Alicia Keys’ first foray into Jamaican collabs, her “You Don’t Know My Name” single was given a Reggae remix, she collaborated with the legendary Junior Reid on the “No One (Remix)“, and who can forget her getting on Cham’s “Ghetto Story (Chapter 2)“? She has always had a soft spot for Jamaica, and “Underdog (Remix)” may be a sign of a lot more to come. Looks like her cover of Chronixx’s “I Can” made the spark. Nobody can take away your determination!
