T’Jean Holds The Order In “Pretender”

There is a fire that is burning, and Reggae Artist T’Jean is one of the keepers of the fire to ensure it won’t die. Strong in his beliefs, he maintains an order that doesn’t find him having certain affiliations, and won’t put him in circles that is detrimental to his way of life. He is not afraid to speak his mind, and whether on a livestream, live event, or an in person conversation, he shares his disapproval for a number of things, and persons. He keeps it blazing against the “Pretender“.

Produced Tesla Rein/Izreal Records, T’Jean maintains the 1-2 Order, and arms himself against corruption in, “Pretender”. His observations have fueled his work here, and he’s calling out those who are not living right, and are practicing corruption. The track is accompanied by a music video directed by RB Visuals, and T’Jean is as militant as ever with his family by his side. He is not here to be liked, he’s speaking out against what is not right. His movement is strong, and he is ready for whatever. Keep the fire blazing.

.@KxngIzem Teams Up With The Autos For “Clean Energy”

Recording Artist Kxng Izem is building his way up for a big moment in his music career. He recently celebrated the 5th anniversary for his well-celebrated EP, “Wildfire“, and he has been making appearances for live performances over the past few months. He is never not working on new music, and with a few releases so far, he continues to people in tune, and show that his Pen is still working. Earlier, he released the new single, “Clean Energy“.

Done in collaboration with Production collective The Autos and Paris La Mont, Kxng Izem makes it look easy on, “Clean Energy”. The song finds him encouraging listeners to live a life that’s free from corruption, free from problems, and maintain an energy that’s nothing but positive. In these times where people are easily lead astray, one must focus on securing their peace, look at the mistakes made by those before them, and not continue the cycle. Over some classic sounding Reggae production, this is what the Reggae lover needs to add to their collection. Can we say there’s a new project on the way? Let’s see. You see the pree? Keep it clean.

Consisting of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Ringo Starr, and George Harrison, The Beatles connected with many worldwide, including Jamaica. Competition was brewing on the Island as well, as there were Artists who believed they could take The Beatles’ place including The Zodiacs, who were once propelled to be a threat to the group in the media. Today, the music is still respected, and tributes from some of your favourite Artists have been performed and recorded. For our latest Playlist, we share the many times Jamaicans covered The Beatles.

In our new Playlist “Jamaica Sings The Beatles“, we feature the many Artists who recorded covers of some of The Beatles’ many classics. From Ernie Smith, to John Holt, to Pat Kelly, to Bob Marley, to Phyllis Dillon, to even Vybz Kartel, you’ll hear covers that you’ve either never heard before, or haven’t heard in a while.
