After causing quite a stir lately where he removed the “Gospel Artist” title from his brand, Prodigal Son or “Prodi” took to Onstage to expound on his decisions and more. Here he spoke on the reaction from the public to his change, remembering when he wasn’t well received in the beginning of his career and not paying attention to backlash, getting more airplay and support from DJs and members of the Church, making more positive changes to his music, and future plans. Not a bad Interview here, he also performed new music. I respect Prodi’s move and I see nothing wrong here as he’s not adding lewd lyrics to the music. Known for his cover songs on his Youtube Channel, Lucas DiPasquale’s popularity grew even more when he covered a medley of songs from Jamaica’s own Popcaan. Tonight, he joins the Onstage set for an Interview. Here he spoke on discovering Dancehall music and loving it, being in Jamaica for the first time, his very popular video, growing up in Canada, looking to further his music career, and studying media in College. He also performed the medley of Popcaan songs and other covers live. It’s good when people from other nationalities embrace Reggae and Dancehall music. They may not even understand Patois but they can sing every word. Much respect to Lucas, he got the official Onstage “Buss“!. Dropping a visual for one of his latest tunes to burn up the airwaves is I Octane with “Your Eyes“. Directed by Bling Blang Productions and shot in Strawberry Hill, I Octane speaks on giving his lady some good loving while we see him and his love interest interacting between the pool and the bedroom. One of the big songs to come out of Markus Myrie’s “SexMate Riddim”, this was a good visual and the location made it even better. After heating up the streets with the single, Xyclone, Cee Gee and Beenie Man present to you the music video for the remix to “Back Pocket Rag“. Directed by Upsetta Films, Muztang Media and RSQTHP Films, we hear the three artists speak on people watching their moves, keeping their names in their mouths and advising them to stop sitting on their names like a back pocket rag. We also get scenes of a street dance where people are enjoying themselves and dancing to the popular single. Not a bad video here, Xyclone has been putting in a lot of work with this single so it’s good to see a visual for it. What do you think? Dropping new music today is Vanessa Bling a.k.a. Gaza Slim. Titled “How To Treat A Girl” and produced by UIM Records, we hear Bling getting at all the men who disrespect the women in their lives by abusing them, calling them names, and being disloyal in their relationships. She also states that they don’t know how to treat a girl and she’s tired of it all and deserves better. Not a bad effort from her here. What do you think of the track? Looking forward to more from Vanessa Bling. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
From riding around in a Bentley to taking her place on the Throne, Tifa makes it known that she’s the Queen of wining in her new music video. Titled “Bak It Up“, which was directed by Benmarc and shot in Los Angeles, the Island Kings Records signee lets us know that she’s a professional at wining and is so good that she can captivate any man and have him “tied“. The video features lots of colours, wining beauties with Tifa joining in, cameos from the Island Kings Records team, and the usual energy from Tifa. Great video here and it’s a very clean one too. This was premiered earlier at Tifa’s “Summer Of Secrets” event along with a few other surprises. Be sure to check out her website
