It’s never too late to show appreciation to your Mother for all she has done and today Rapper Dylan Golden does just that. Titled “If I Told You” which features Singer Kamau and produced by Jamaican producer Kris Kars, Dylan makes a dedication to his Mother, speaks on growing up with her, how she has been there for him even when he messed up and how he wants to give back for all she has done. A good effort here from Dylan, great production from Kris and I like that chorus that Kamau provided. This deserves to be played to your Mom anytime so keep this track handy. Show Mom that love! NEW VIDEO: @OnstageTV Interviews @DAngel_Music x Marco Dean

It’s only natural when an offspring of an entertainer wants to follow in their parents’ footsteps. On Onstage over the weekend, Marco Dean, son of D’Angel and Beenie Man joined his mom on Onstage to speak on his plans for Mother’s Day. Here the 8 year old spoke about School, making something for his mother for Mother’s Day, not wanting to follow the footsteps of his mom and dad, and being an active kid. D’Angel also spoke about her career, enjoying her son’s growth, being a “Momtrepreneur“, closing down her clothing business to focus on her career and motherhood, being an actress and her upcoming film, and future plans. This was a hilarious interview as Marco Dean is just being a kid here, it’s good to know that Beenie and D’Angel are working hard to be loving and supporting parents. While many are spending the day with their moms, many aren’t so fortunate to have that opportunity. Today Bounty Killa dedicates his new single to his late mother, Miss Ivy. Titled “Mama (Gone But Not Forgotten)” and produced by Digital One Productions, Bounty recalls the moments he had with his mother and promises to live and pass on the lessons he was taught and thanks her for being around. NEW MUSIC: @MarcyChinaDoll x @TimberleeMusic – No Means No

There comes a time when a “No” really means “No!” and today Marcy Chin and Timberlee emphasize on this in their new song. Titled “No Means No (Anti-Rape Song)” and produced by Ward 21 on the Patty Crumbz Riddim, we hear the ladies speak on men going too far with them, what they’ll do If a man attempts to rape them, and enforcing their right to refuse any advances. Not a bad effort here, lots of times many men (and in some cases, females) feel that everyone wants them and when they’re refused they go to the extreme and violate someone. Pay Attention is a bi-monthly Hip Hop concert series that is held in Kingston Jamaica that promotes the Jamaican Hip Hop culture.
