Dancehall Artist Baby Cham is still giving the people good music, and bringing the vibes wherever he goes. For 30 years, he has his secured as one of Jamaica’s great Dancehall acts. He enjoyed life crossing over to the International market, but he never forgets home. Celebrating his milestone, he released the new EP, “Sherlock“.

Baby Cham pays homage to his community of Sherlock Crescent with the new “Sherlock EP”. The Deejay’s mission with the new project was to entertain and motivate the listener, and he does a good job with the 8 tracks provided. With a catalogue that had him gaining respect in the streets and becoming a sex symbol with the ladies, he puts together a package that is bound to be on repeat for the fans. On the production side, Cham enlists the likes of The FaNaTix, DJ Karim, and Red, while he shares the booth with Stephen and Damian Marley. Baby Cham is one of a number of Artists who celebrate 30 years in Jamaican music, and at this rate, he’ll be around for much longer. It all started in Sherlock.

For quite some time, he has been hinting at the release of a project called “Muse“. After a few singles, tour dates, and major appearances, the “Muse” EP is finally here.

Presenting 7 tracks, D’yani is giving the world his work of art with the “Muse” EP. Released through 9X Music, the project finally goes public for the fans to enjoy all year round, and the Singer has selections that will keep them happy every time. Recording Artist Bayka is one of the names to know when it comes to the Trap Dancehall, and he aims to level up this year, and beyond. The year has seen him release a number of singles and videos, but the people have been wanting more from the Artist. He has heard them, and he delivers with his official Mixtape, “Mob Ties“.

Featuring 13 tracks, Bayka levels up with his debut Mixtape, “Mob Ties”. The project highlights an Artist who has been building his name for a number of years, and has different sounds and styles for every type of Bayka listener. Protoje is at it again. For over a decade, the Artist has been providing music that connects with the listener in various ways, and has built a movement that has been growing rapidly around the world. Fresh off of his massive staging of the “Lost In Time Festival“, Protoje releases, “Legend Legend“.

Produced by The FaNaTiX, Protoje solidifies his position as an Icon in “Legend Legend”. The track is a testament of the impact he has had in his music career, and we are aware of the work it took to get there. The song also recognizes another legend, Bob Marley. Even after his death in 1981, Marley is a global Icon, and the recent release of the “Bob Marley: One Love” Film is evidence that the Gong is generational. Beenie Man is a King of Dancehall. Love him or hate him, he is the greatest Dancehall Entertainer, and he has plenty moments at stage shows, and attendees to vouch for that. With over 40 years in music, it’s still crazy that a former child star not named Michael Jackson has made his name transcend generations. In 2021, Beenie shared that he would release a new album. After a few delays, he has finally liberated “Simma“.

“Simma” features 20 tracks, and it finds Beenie Man still holding his own in Dancehall Music. Never one to stay boxed in, he tries out a few different styles for this album. Whether your taste is the traditional Dancehall/Reggae, or even the new wave of NY and UK Drill, Beenie has something for everyone. Trini Artist Boy Boy has been one of the big names in the “Trinibad” movement for quite some time, and he looks to become a bigger name on a global level. With a number of hits in his catalogue, he brings a style and persona that quickly gained him a following. All about making big moves, he recently released the visual for the track, “Bufu“.

Directed by Romael, “Bufu” finds Boy Boy bringing some aggression. Shot in New York, the Artist rolls through the city with his crew, and makes it clear that he’s ready for whatever if the Opps think they have the upper hand. The single was produced by The FaNaTiX and released through 23 Formation, and it features some NY Drill sounds that fit well with Boy Boy’s in your face lyrics. The current wave of Trinibad Artists continue to make noise around and outside the Caribbean, and we can expect even more from Boy Boy later this year.
