Chantice Gervais is a UK based Youtuber who represents for the Caribbean, and those living the “Natural Hair Life“. One thing she highlights a lot more, is her love of Dance. Recently she teamed up with her friends Dancers Tina Omotosho and Jackie Kibukz, and Choreographer/Videographer Bismark Anobah for a dose of “Positive Vibrations“. Donned in African inspired garb, they performed to the tunes of Chronixx’s “Majesty” (Get it here), and the Sister Nancy classic, “Bam Bam” (Get it here). Showing off various styles, the video should inspire you to get on your feet, and learn a move or few. A nice clip for all to see, with songs that will sure to call for a gun finger salute. Last year, International Recording Artist/Producer M.I.A. announced the release of her 5th Album, AIM. One surprise on that Album was a collaboration with Dancehall Artist Dexta Daps called “Foreign Friend“. Earlier this year, M.I.A. previewed a second track with the Singjay during a livestream, and today we have it! Titled “Load ‘Em“, Dexta delivers his signature sound to get the party started over a production that sounds like a blend of Jamaican and Indian influences while M.I.A. chants at different points of the song. A song to build a vibe with and reel in a few of your friends to dance to. Get your dance crews ready for this one. Weh mi Rum deh? Check out the track below.

@DenaiMoore Heads To The Motherland For Her “Desolately Devoted” Visual!

Introducing to the Blog today is a young lady who goes by the name, Denai Moore. She has been doing her thing for quite a while overseas, but she calls Jamaica the land of her birth. Recently, she released her 2nd Album titled “We Used To Bloom” (Get It Here). Today, I present to you a visual from that Album titled “Desolately Devoted“. Directed by Travys Owen and shot in the South African Desert, Denai speaks on the good and bad feelings associated with wanting to be with someone. It’s always two sides when it comes to relationships, you either want to go with it, or you hold back because you don’t want to let down your guard. In the video we see her oozing with “Black Girl Magic” as she makes various colourful outfit changes to blend with the breathtaking backdrops. Dutty yeah! Jamaican music continues to find itself in every nook and cranny of this Earth! While Popcaan enjoyed play time on the 2K16 edition, Recording Artist Sean Paul joins the line up for the Soundtrack for NBA 2K18! Featuring his 2016 “No Lie” collaboration with UK Artist Dua Lipa, players can rock to the soundtrack which also adds old school Hip Hop, Rock, and some of the more recent hit songs out there. “No Lie” was released last November on Island Records, and has since been certified Gold in the UK, Platinum in France, and has peaked to #2 in Hungary and the Czech Republic music charts. NBA 2K18 hits stores in September but you can hear the full soundtrack now on Spotify, and watch the video for the single below.

During his recent travels, the “Unruly Boss” Popcaan stopped by the Noisey offices to be a part of the “The People Vs” series. Here, Popcaan reads comments off Youtube for his 2015 Music Video for “Love Yuh Bad“. From the good to weird, Popcaan handles as many comments as he can from viewers worldwide. “Love Yuh Bad” was featured on Popcaan’s debut album, “Where We Come From“, and was sampled on Drake’s “Views” album. For those in the UK, you can catch Poppy performing alongside Stefflon Don, and D Double E. Popcaan is also busy working on new music, and maybe a follow up to his debut album. @PopcaanMusic Teams Up With @Gorillaz For “Saturnz Barz”!

Your favourite British Alternative Rock Virtual Band is back! The Gorillaz recently announced a new album in 6 years, and even premiered 4 new songs to boot. One of the tracks premiered is called “Saturnz Barz”, and features the “Unruly Boss”, Popcaan! Accompanied by a 6 minute VR Short Film, Popcaan displayed his Dancehall “Barz” over the Gorillaz’s haunting Production while the Band makes a visit to a “Spirit House”. Score another one for Popcaan as he is taking advantage of all the International collaborations coming his way. What will he surprise us with next? Gorillaz’s new album, “Humanz” will hit stores on April 28. Check out the video below!
