Jahshii Reflects On His Struggles On “Greatness”

Dancehall Artist Jahshii has come a long way from his days of overcoming adversities to make ends meet. While he hasn’t reached the peak of his success yet, he is grateful for putting to rest many of what held him back over the years. With every passing 24 hours, he still aims for “Greatness“.

In a Shane Creative-directed video, Jahshii takes the stage to share some of the struggles he has experienced, and overcame. The “Greatness” video highlights some of his performances, and places where his dreams and dedication made possible. He shows gratitude to his family as they made the sacrifices, and he gives thanks to Jah for protecting him through it all. Jahshii’s time is now, and no gate nor door shall be closed while he works for true prosperity. Blvk H3ro has come a long way since breaking out in the early 2010s. His career grew at a steady pace thanks to his music highlighting the everyday life of the average man, living life in a positive way, and of course loving the herb. Now with a GRAMMY nomination under his belt, he’s looking to take his name to even more places. He has a lot to be happy about, and he lets you in on it in “Celebration“.

With Lauren Enriquez behind the lens, we see Blvk H3ro connecting with everyone from Industry players, to celebrities, to fans and friends, he is living it up in the moment. For a number of years, Recording Artist Deep Jahi has been maintaining a career that produced a number of singles that connected with many listeners. Over time he became one of the more respected names out there, and has showcased a style that stood out from everyone else. Now using his time and expertise to help other Artists along with recording new music, he’s on a mission to build a legacy that will inspire many others. In a Yardcore Films-directed video, Deep Jahi reflects on his life, his journey, the times he has been counted out, and some of the good he has done so far. Over the CaadoBeatz production, Jahi emphasizes that having a team with great chemistry is important to make the dream work. The video highlights some of his performances, working in the Studio, and overseeing Artists like Kraff making moves under his guidance. “The Equalizer” is an action TV series that focuses on Robyn McCall, who lives life as a single Mother, but has a mysterious side where she uses her extensive range of skills to help people out of various situations. The series stars Queen Latifah and Lorraine Toussaint, and is aired weekly on CBS. It’s inspired by the movie trilogy of the same name that stars Denzel Washington, and is a reboot of the 1980s TV series. This series is in its 3rd season, and during their latest episode, a familiar Reggae classic was featured.

In the season 3 finale of “The Equalizer” titled “Patriot Game“, Jimmy Cliff’s “Many Rivers To Cross” closed off the episode. Co-Produced with Leslie Kong, the song was released in 1969 through Trojan Records. The ballad was written at a time Cliff was having difficulty in becoming a successful Musician in the UK, and it brought a lot of frustration within himself. The ballad was featured on his sophomore album “Jimmy Cliff” a.k.a. “Wonderful World, Beautiful People” and “The Harder They Come” soundtrack, and is one of Cliff’s biggest hits. “Many Rivers To Cross” was previously featured in the movie “Rush“, along with the TV shows “Daredevil“, “Wilfred“, and “Falling Skies“. The ballad was also covered by UB40, and Tessanne Chin during her time on “The Voice” in 2013.

The Harry J Allstars’ “Liquidator” Featured In New @TedLasso Episode

It has been said over and over that good music will always prevail. When it comes to Jamaican music, the same can be said as it has managed to stick to many through the decades. Recently, the Apple TV+ hit series “Ted Lasso” returned with its 3rd season. The series focuses on Ted Lasso who is played by Jason Sudeikis, an American Football (NFL) Coach who takes his talents to the UK to manage a British Football (Soccer) team. The 2nd episode of the 3rd season kicked off on March 22, and a familiar sound was heard.

In the episode “(I Don’t Want To Go To) Chelsea” of “Ted Lasso”, The Harry J Allstars’ “Liquidator” was featured. The Instrumental was produced by Harry “Harry J” Johnson, and released through the Harry J label. “Liquidator” was sampled by Al Bell for The Staple Singers’ classic “I’ll Take You There“, covered by numerous Artists, and was famously used as run out music for the Football Clubs Wolverhampton Wanderers, Northampton Town, Yeovil Town, West Bromwich Albion, and most famously, Chelsea, who claims to have 1st used it.

“Ted Lasso” is now available for streaming on Apple TV+.

450 Shares Life Lessons On “Live N’ Learn”

Dancehall Artist 450 has been regarded as one of the more consistent Artists in recent years. From his generation of Artists, he has managed to deliver songs that will make you think about life and its many challenges, but still have songs that cater to the ladies, and those all about having a good time. Despite the positives in his life, he has experienced his share of pitfalls, and he looks to educate the listener on “Live N’ Learn“.

In video directed by Damaniac Visualz, 450 gives us life lessons on “Live N’ Learn”. He lets us in on some of the times he has been let down people who he thought cared about him, and shows gratitude for putting them behind him so he can enjoy life. He’s living and learning, and in the video he buries his past self, and warns viewers to be careful in the world. “Live N’ Learn” was produced by Sponge Music on the “Forgiven Riddim“. Along with new music, 450 has been busy with live performances in and outside the Caribbean, and securing new connections which would later turn into collaborations. 450 is focused, and just like the comments that we see all the time on Youtube, he hasn’t disappointed his fans yet.
