In memory of Producer Patrick “Roach” Samuels’ passing, the Gully God Mavado released a tribute song. Titled “Soldiers” and produced by JA Productions, we hear Mavado paying homage to not only Roach, but to all fallen soldiers over a beautiful production. Patrick Samuels was gunned down on September 15 in Kingston. Patrick Samuels was known for his many productions including Mavado’s “Caribbean Girls” and Vybz Kartel’s “Emergency” and was also Kartel’s Road Manager. Today’s video comes in the form of an Interview with Shaggy from the Breakfast Club on NY’s Power 105.1. Here he spoke about some aspects of Jamaica and misconceptions, his start in the music industry, his new album “Out Of Many One Music“, his style of music and many other topics. Interesting Interview from Shaggy although sometimes I was weirded out by the “twang” and the generic questions. That was a crazy story with him and the late James Brown. Today’s new music comes from Junior Reid, Brooklyn rapper Uncle Murda and the World Boss Vybz Kartel. Titled “Guns Dem Load” and produced by JR Records, we hear them reaching out to the ghetto youths and letting them know that even though times are hard they don’t have to take the badman route. Ghetto yutes wise up for the world is yours. It’s dread out a road but positive energy is needed. Great hearing three different artists coming together for something good. It’s saturday afternoon and you might be enjoying the weather and chilling, why not add some new Vybz Kartel to it? Titled “Hi” and produced by Rvssian, we hear Kartel making use of the word “high” and “hi” from describing the feeling he gets from marijuana to food prices. Interesting effort from Kartel as some of the lines are funny with his use of wordplay. He may be locked up but his music is free. Be sure to download it on iTunes on September 10. Disloyalty is the topic for today’s new music from the “World Boss” Vybz Kartel. Titled “No Games” and produced by U.I.M. Records on the “Love Tri-Angle Riddim“, we hear Vybz expressing how he felt about his woman betraying him and telling that if she wants to continue with her bad ways she can go. Kinda different hearing Kartel being on the opposite side as some of his songs are usually his women being the victims. If she wants the fame so badly she can do what she wants then. NEW VIDEO: @Trabass_Tv – Business (Remix)

Adorned in an afro and prison gears is Andrew Trabass with a new music video. A remix off Vybz Kartel’s “Business” single and directed by Tehut-9 and LMR Productions, we see Trabass playing his role as the “World Boss” and his friends as security while he deejays his song. After being teased at the end of many of his vlogs, this is a fun effort from Andrew and the video is not bad either. What do you think?
