Tonight, two Dancehall giants in Gully Bop and Ninja Man have graced the Onstage set. Will there be a much needed clash from these two, or a collaboration? Here Gully Bop spoke on his career 1 year after his discovery and rise to stardom, ignoring doubters, still being a hot commodity in the Dancehall circles, “Killing dem wid style“, thoughts on Sting 2015 and more. Ninja Man however spoke on his recent hospitalization, his thoughts on Sting 2015, working on a new project with veteran Artists, spreading his wings as an Entrepreneur, and Gully Bop. With rumors of a divorce between Jah Cure and his Wife, Kamila, it has been trying its hardest to overshadow his music career. With his “The Cure” album creating a huge buzz, Jah Cure brought forward a special performance to the Onstage set. Firstly he spoke about “The Cure” being a classic album and its success, addressing the rumor, being heralded as being one of the best Jamaican Vocalists, and much more. He also delivered a set where he performed singles from his “The Cure” album. Good to see Cure still pushing and brushing past the rumors that have stepped his way. From hit singles to sold out stage shows, Protoje and Chronixx have contributed plenty to the Reggae Revival movement. On Onstage they spoke about their single “Who Knows” getting a new life by being added to BBC Radio’s playlist, performing overseas and their experiences, their current success, artists they’ve been listening to and more. Joined by popular Dancer Gabbidon, he gave a career update, staying busy, “Gimme Way” and staking his claim as one of first acts to have started the “Dancing Song” trend, and more.
