Mixtape Movements: @Dreggaemusic x @ShaneTalon – Lights Low Mixtape
Today’s new mixtape comes from Atlanta based deejay, Dreggae. Titled “Lights Low Mixtape” and mixed by Shane Talon, this is a showcase of some of Dreggae’s current tracks and remixes. With over half hour worth of music, this also features his freestyle over Jay Z’s “Open Letter”. Very entertaining compilation by Dreggae and Shane Talon. Today’s new music comes from Sons Of Liberty member, Miguel James. Titled “Only Kids Dream” and produced by Miguel and Riptide, we hear Miguel taking it back to moments in his upbringing including when he listened to raps and penned lyrics, to now being determined to make it and overcome his struggles. According to the title only kids dream and being at the age of 21, he needs to make things happen. Really great production here along with very interesting lyrics that promises you to rewind a few parts. NEW MUSIC: @TifaMusic – Tiki Tiki
Today’s new music comes from the dancehall diva named Tifa. Titled “Tiki Tiki” and produced by Gachapan Records from Japan on the WiFi Riddim, we hear Tifa deejays that her man approves of her by “ticking” her and she’s always hot and stays on top of her game. “Ticking” would be the same as a teacher marking your papers with a A+ score and Tifa makes it known that she’s top notch while the other girls are rejections. Today’s new music comes from Miami’s own Trina and Philly’s own Meek Mill. Titled “Ass Fat” and produced by Jahlil Beats, we hear Meek Mill showing admiration for the ladies with the well proportioned derriere while Trina let’s us know that she’s still the baddest chick and she owns the fattest assets. Not a bad collaboration from the two, Jahlil made a beat that’s ready for the twerking videos and with its energy promises to be in heavy rotation. NEW VIDEO: @BustaRhymes x @NickiMinaj – Twerk It
Today’s new music video comes from the duo of Busta Rhymes and Nicki Minaj. Titled “Twerk It” and directed by Director X, we see Busta waking up to tend to a few things only to be confronted by his lady friend. The video also moves to scenes of Busta going through a few costume changes in a dance while dealing with ladies who dance on him and a few men who confront him about matters. Nicki Minaj also shows up in various scenes moving her body (and booty) while deejaying her part of their dancehall-tinged single. Very clean video, funny in some parts with Busta being a character and overall not a bad effort because it’s all about twerking ladies (Who we’ve seen alot of). What do you think?
