NEW MUSIC: @AlunaGeorge x @PopcaanMusic – I’m In Control

Dancehall Artist Popcaan has been in demand ever since he dabbled in the International music playground. With tunes with Pusha T, Young Thug, Cardi B, and an appearance on Drake’s “If You’re Reading This…” to name a few, he now joins London Electronic Music duo AlunaGeorge on “I’m In Control“. AlunaGeorge, who are still riding high off their DJ Snake assisted “You Know You Like It“, dropped this as the first single to their upcoming “I Remember” album which is set to be released this Spring. With AlunaGeorge’s upcoming appearance at the Paradise Lost EDM Festival in March, will this be a part of their set? Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @MachelMontano x @TarrusRileyJA – Memory

They say the present is a gift, so we must create lasting memories out of it. Reminding us of this is a best of both worlds collab between Machel Montano and Tarrus Riley! Titled “Memory” and produced by Anson Soverall with writing from Emmanuel Rudder, Dale Ryan and Kit Israel, the artists speak on cherishing the moments with your loved ones and though the advancements of technology enables us to quickly document them, are they more significant than the old fashioned way? A single that promises to be a mainstay for years to come, I really would look forward to an collaborative project between these two artists, and a Major Lazer remix. Make it last forever! PRESS RELEASE: @NadeshaStarface Celebrates The Release Of “Hold My Man”

Overnight female sensation, Starface has come to prominence after a controversial performance at Sting 2015. Her onstage aura was compelling and bold with a tongue far from shy. This encouraged police officers to pull the plug on her at the annual event.

The newcomer is strongly influenced by the “Queen of the Dancehall”, Lady Saw, who has touted her as the next big thing. It is evident that Starface has traits similar to Saw as an up-comer. She may very well be next in line to accept the baton pass, as the queen journeys on to a new spiritual path, leaving the Dancehall race behind.
 
“Hold My Man” is the title of the new video which she celebrates the release of via her label, Konsequence Muzik. The video, which is filled with sexual appeal, was shot by Kerro and now available exclusively on StarfaceofficialVEVO. She has also released a single about her debut Sting experience titled, “Mash It Up” which is already in rotation.

“The Release” is an Entertainment Program featured on Hype TV  and Sun City Radio every Tuesday at 8:30 PM, with repeats on Thursday and Saturday at 6:30 PM. Hosted by Talisa Taylor and Lisa-Sade, the program features some of the newest entertainment releases and upcoming events. NEW VIDEO: @IAmRaytid – My Day

With a single that has been prominent in the streets and on the airwaves, True Gift Ent. Recording Artist Raytid drops the visuals for “My Day“. Directed by DaManiac Visualz, we see Raytid dealing with a rough 9 to 5 job and a discouraging boss while having ambitions to make it in the Music business. He does spread a positive message that his day will come where he will be successful and not have to deal with hardships anymore. With scenes that many can relate to, this should be one of your early 2016 faves. It was messed up when his boss interrupted him while he was performing for the camera.
