NEW VIDEO: @PayAttentionJA Cypha #1

Posted on November 27, 2013November 27, 2013 by swadedavillain

As a teaser for the upcoming PayAttention show on Saturday November 30 at Club Indulge in Kingston, the acts slated to perform made a cypher session. Over Drake’s “Pound Cake” instrumental, Miguel James, Rseenal, Illicit King, and France Nooks all traded some of their many bars they have in their arsenal. Definitely worth many replays, they spit lyrics. Do support the event as we have many talented individuals that have been given the platform to show and prove. NEW VIDEO: @Trabass_TV – Going Home Sidechick

Posted on November 26, 2013 by swadedavillain

Today’s new video comes from your favourite comedian, Andrew Trabass. Titled “Going Home Sidechick” and directed by Dante Hillmedo, the video starts off with Trabass and a young lady in bed discussing the possibility of being a couple and Trabass brushing the topic off. The video continues when Trabass is explaining to her that she’s only his girl on the side and trying to escort her out of his house despite her actions. Trabass also has a couple scenes where he imitates Drake’s “NWTS” album cover. Not a bad effort from Andrew, his single “You Alone” is on iTunes now so go get it! Love the skin you’re in! In today’s installment in the “NewMusicTuesday“, Dreggae teams up with singer Santrella Renee. Titled “Black Is Beauty” and produced by Rvssian, we hear Dreggae telling a story of a young lady who was told to alter her skin so that she can advance in life while Santrella sings that we should never be ashamed of being black and black is definitely beautiful. NEW VIDEO: @MarioEvon – Soul Tek

Posted on November 25, 2013 by swadedavillain

Today’s new video comes from the multifaceted crooner, Mario Evon. Titled “Soul Tek” and directed by Reynaldo Martin, we see Mario pursuing a young lady, having conversations with her, having fun and getting cozy with her on the country side. We also have scenes of Mario singing in beautiful locations showing off lush vegetation. Great effort from Mr. Evon as he has a really good single here. Heard the acoustic version to this for the first time at Pay Attention on October 5, 2013 and I can say it’s something to keep near for the romantic moments. If your “Soul Tek” this single, check the video below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

MUSIC: @AsapFerg @EmperorRanks @BustaRhymes @MigosATL – Shabba (Remix)

Posted on November 23, 2013November 23, 2013 by swadedavillain

After burning up the airwaves with the original, it was only right that A$AP Ferg requested a verse from Shabba Ranks to make the remix. “Shabba Ranks (Remix)” also features Busta Rhymes and Migos, who had a hit with “Versace“. This was a decent effort as many haven’t heard a Shabba verse in years and Busta Rhymes had to help represent on the microphone. The Migos feature was an odd one though. A$AP Ferg’s “Trap Lord” album is still in stores. Is this remix a sign of new things to come from Shabba? Maybe. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

NEW MUSIC: @Trabass_TV – Sidechick You’re Going Home

Posted on November 22, 2013 by swadedavillain

Just hold on, you’re going home! After teasing it on his Instagram, Trabass finally released his remix to Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home“. Titled “Sidechick You’re Going Home“, Trabass lets his girl on the side know that it’s time to pack up and leave. Not a bad effort from Trabass, DJs could mix this with the original song and could have the same effect on patrons. It’s only entertainment, listen and laugh!
