Today we’re taken back in time, 1993 to be exact thanks to the team of Major Lazer, Busy Signal, The Flexican and FS Green. Titled “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” and directed byJay Will, we see Busy Signal deejaying while dancers show off the top dances of that year. Check out the Cross Colours gear, the boots and jewelry. There are also cameos from Chronixx and Mystic. Very nostalgic, look at the trends from 20 years ago. I see that dancer paying homage to the dancer “Bruk Up“. Today’s new music comes from Singer J and he really surprised me with this one. Titled “Stay Away” and produced by Never Sleep Productions on the One Life Riddim, Singer J speaks about a lover that he tries hard to get over but to no avail. He sings about how loving her gets him angry, how she never knew how much she meant to him, how hard it is to stay away from her and how she’s now with someone else. I’ve been a listener of Singer J ever since he collaborated with Q45 in the early 2000s and it really saddened me that he never got much further in the business. He is a talented person and this song is a really great one and should be getting heavy rotation everywhere. Check out the song below and share your thoughts in the comments section.
