@Protoje Offers “Royalty Free” Free EP!

While fans of Protoje still can’t get over the widely popular “Ancient Future” album, the Artist believed it was time to give them something more. Recently he offered up two new releases in “Can’t Feel No Way” and “Glad You’re Home“, but now he ups the ante with “Royalty Free: Side B“. The 5 track EP gives listeners another music side to Protoje as he experiments with fresh sounds and tests out newer flows. With Taj Francis adding beautiful pieces for the EP’s Artwork, Producers like Winta James, The Drum Keys, Tracker John HD, and 8 Track add beautiful backdrops to Protoje, Runkus, and Lila Ike’s vocals. If you’re familiar with the first two offerings, you will be in for a huge surprise with this project as Protoje further extends his musical reach. Happy Birthday Protoje from 13thStreetPromotions! Borrowing Hip Hop Artist Logic’s “Young Jesus” beat, the duo trade braggadocious bars, girls, stories, and let listeners know that they aim to leave a huge dent in the Music scene! A track that’ll have you rewinding frequently, this could be the beginning of something dope to come from these two Artists? Collab EP? Mixtape? Let’s see. @MrLevy411 Collabs With @Supreme_NYC X Jah Life!

New York based Streetwear Brand Supreme recently teamed up with Reggae Crooner Barrington Levy and Reggae Producer Hyman “Jah Life” Wright for a new line of Clothing for their Summer ’16 collection. Wright, who along with Henry “Junjo” Lawes, were the Producers who contributed to the rise of Barrington Levy’s career from the late 70’s to the 80’s. Together they’ve helped to create timeless albums such as “Bounty Hunter“, “Englishman“, and “Robin Hood” which spawned many hits for the young Levy. Supreme is no stranger to the Caribbean as they have worked with DJ/Director/Style Icon Va$htie who is of Trinidadian Heritage, and had a line that featured the late Jamaican Recording Artist Sugar Minott. The new line features a hooded Sweatshirt, 3 T-shirts and a Tank top highlighting the original artwork for Levy’s previously mentioned albums, and a shirt featuring H.I.M. Haile Selassie I. The collection will be available in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online on June 16 while it hits Japan on June 18.

With Tazz’s “Savage SZN” seeing a June 18th release date, he recently teamed up with fellow High Tunez Gang member Kans for “oVa Here“. Produced by Taylor King, Tazz brings the energy down a little on this one as he cruises over a smooth Production and reps his team while Kans keeps it locked and loaded in the passenger seat. With a series of Freestyles and collaborations lately, Tazz continues to rep for Montego Bay’s Hip Hop Movement and with “Savage SZN” on the horizon, he aims to get more ears open to the HTG sound.
