@LenoBanton Shares His Imprint Experience On “Da MEDz: Ep. 1”

In every young Artist’s life, there comes that time where they put in a lot of work on their rise to the top. Leno Banton is one of those Artists who stepped on the scene with a brand and a crew to match, and all he wants now is to be seen and heard worldwide. Recently, he was booked to perform at the Imprint event in Kingston, Jamaica. In the first episode of his “Da MEDz” Vlog series, he shares his thoughts and visuals before and after the event. We got a chance to see him prepare for his appearance, solo performance, and meeting with Recording Artist Protoje who he deems as an Influence in his career. OLDIES SUNDAY: Black Uhuru – General Penitentiary (1979)

Today’s Oldies Sunday comes from legendary Grammy winning Reggae group, Black Uhuru! Titled “General Penitentiary“, this was produced by Sly & Robbie for the Taxi Label in 1979 and features vocals from members Derek “Duckie” Simpson, Michael Rose (Mykal Rose), and the late Sandra “Puma” Jones. The single speaks on the experiences of someone who is serving time in Prison, the conditions they live in, and warns “Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time“.

Recording Artist Alexx A-Game has been pretty busy in recent times, but he had his moments where he surprises us with new music. Recently, he teamed up with Manchester, UK based DJ/Production Collective Swing Ting and it resulted in a remix to his very popular single, “A-Game Everyday“. A song that has been an anthem for the Blog and our affiliate Blaze 876 Radio, Swing Ting took A-Game’s vocals and brought their unique sound which was provided by members DJ Platt and DJ Samrai, and lifted the track up on another level!
