RAINE SEVILLE CREATES A BUZZ IN BARBADOS
Raine Seville is constantly reinventing herself and this time she’s fighting for her spot on top! The “Mad Dem” artiste recently released her new single “Suh Wi Roll” on the Task Force Riddim which was Bajan produced. The single is a counteraction to a track on the same rhythm done by Bajan buzzing artiste Brutal Crankstar’s “Badman Nuh Lip” which is currently one of the most played songs in Barbados. “This song is very different from what persons hear from me, I am versatile and I love proving people wrong” shared Raine. She further added, “Suh Wi Roll basically defends women who are sexy, beautiful, and living a great life but can also make that transition if needs be, to become soldiers on the battlefield”.
“Suh Wi Roll” produced by DonWrita Records was written by Striker and Raine Seville and is steadily growing a fan base in Barbados. Additionally, Raine whose new booking agent is Headline Entertainment released her first soca single entitled “Brace Back” produced by Bajan radio personality Jon Doe and Gorg. “I love surprising persons and this song is also very different it’s sexy, fun and an up-tempo dance track for the ladies” Seville shared.
With the successes of her Barbados trip Raine has also opted to premiere her latest video “Bajan Wuk” which was collaborative effort between Brutal Crankstar and herself. The video directed by Supa Frost and Scenes Entourage was shot in Barbados and its YouTube version has created shock waves amongst her fans because of its provocative nature. “My music grows more and more each day, I believe in reinventing myself and this is what makes me different from many female acts” Raine shared. Seville is set to premiere her new video for “Bajan Wuk” on local television next week.
