With the recent news of Selector Foota Hype and Dancehall artist IShawna involved in feuds since their breakup, popular Radio Personality Ragashanti called up IShawna to discuss the current situation. This is a pretty lengthy call so I’ll let the audio speak for itself. Check out the Interview below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Dancehall artist Quick Cook created waves recently when he debuted a new slang named “Bread” on fellow artist Demarco’s “Talk Yuh Mind” series. Today, with Elephant Man and selector Boom Boom joining him, they release a song of the same name. Produced by Energy God Productions, the three artists sprinkle the slang throughout the whole song but here “Bread” means money. Being the main act on the song, Elephant Man spoke on earning “Bread“, poor people deserving “Bread“, lame Politicians and artists. A very entertaining song here, you can always depend on Elephant Man to bring the energy to a slang or dance through song. BREAD! Professing his love for Reggae music today is the one and only Prodi! Titled “Reggae Music And I” and produced by Yawd Movement, we hear Prodi singing about reuniting with Reggae and describes how it has affected his life. He also personifies Reggae and speaks on it being a worldwide influence. Great single here as it gives the feel of it being a new Reggae anthem. This would be great for commercials and even the Jamaican Tourism sector (I called it first!). Prodi’s “Voice Of The People” EP is now available on iTunes! Today’s new music comes from the “World Boss“, Vybz Kartel and Singer Toian joins him. Titled “Ice Queen” and produced by TJ Records, they both take the R&B route here as they talk about infidelity and what they’ve done to each other. Interesting track here, it’s still crazy how many tracks have been released this year from Vybz Kartel and with Toian burning up the airwaves with “Rude Boys“, this single can go pretty far. Check out the track below and share your thoughts in the comments section.

It’s been a while since J Yungg has graced the blog and today he drops a new song. Titled “Rich Enemies“, he speaks on friends who have turned their backs on him after they’ve achieved some success. He also pointed out the times where they all suffered together and they can’t even say hello to one another. A good effort here as he speaks on a topic that many can relate to. There are people who know when things were rough but the second they’ve achieved a better life they forget those who were there for them. Looking forward to more music from J Yungg.
